  1. Hello and welcome! I'm 57 and would gladly accept a free ticket to Melbourne!!!
  2. Just in case you don't know - very few reputable artists are going to reproduce a previously issued piece. Tweeks could easily be mandatory.
  3. 1974, just days after I turned 18. Skinny, long-haired rock-n-roller. In some name-unknown parlor on Chippewa Street in Buffalo, NY (which at the time was skid row = Junkies, Prostitutes, rank bars and tattoo parlors). Flash from the wall. As with the times, I don't remember much if any of the experience. Here's what's left of it:
  4. @guitguy - excellent encounter. Definitely jealous. We saw Johnny about 5-6 years ago at a show in his hometown of Beaumont. He was so frail at the time the crew had to carry him out to center stage on a chair and then bring him his guitar. After the fabulous show they picked his chair back up and carried him away. Actually made me cry. It's amazing he's stayed alive so long.
  5. I'd be asking a certified, Japanese traditionalist to offer his/her opinion on the whole thing being re-worked. Definitely at least needs outlining, but the Koi is looking washed out, too.
  6. get it re-worked, if it makes you feel better. Polish your good luck.
  7. Dragons are always cool. If you want to go the humorous route = wind-up chattering teeth!
  8. That kind of depends on what your artist knows about the car and how he/she wants to frame it up, I'd think. I used to have a '66 Catalina. Great car, but I lost most of the pictures of it during Katrina.
  9. Just had the same problem myself. I left them a message on their facebook page about their web page being down . . .
  10. Great! We'll be expecting pictures.
  11. Welcome. Got some pictures of your work?
  12. Perfect excuse to buy that book, thanks. :) - - - Updated - - - TWO WEEKS!!??? Better just go ahead and drop that hammer, then.
  13. You may have some bruising, too. Obviously, that'll go away. Patience, Grasshopper.
  14. Please dare me. Please. I dare you to dare me.

    Hey everybody

Welcome. Where in the panhandle, anywhere near Destin?
  16. @Graeme Just fucking fabulous, of course. How did you describe to him what you wanted?
  17. SStu

    HI!

What @Graeme said. That and bring printed references. They don't need to be exact or specific. Once you've found the artist that does work you love, leave all the creative process up to him/her.
