To be clear - you're looking for more visual references, or historical origin?
Additional references might come up once in a while (none that I can quickly recall, tho), but I'd be surprised if the latter will become evident.
Have never heard of this before. Can't imagine that drinking a ton of water is going to make you bleed any faster or more.
Can you post a picture of what's been done so far?
Six months after you got tattooed, if you find a problem on your skin it's not likely related to the tattoo.
As long as it's not infected you'll need to just wait until it heals to see how that area is going to react.
I sure don't think it needs "fixing", but you are the wearer.
Check with the artist to see if those particular colors changed over time on other wearers. Maybe in the effort of using new/vibrant colors he/she used a new product that is extra sensitive to the sun, moisturizers and such.
