  1. @omeletta thanks for posting that. I had completely forgotten about my camping trips to Algonquin as a kid (back in the '60s, holy sh*t!).
  2. and for you Americanos who haven't actually visited Canada in a few years = don't forget you need a passport, now.
  3. I don't think there are any "rules" about placement of a dagger or knife. Not sure about your experience with respect to the planning stage and realistic outcome of tattoos, but just in case you hadn't thought about it, you're not going to get much detail into a 7cm dagger.
  4. Absolutely straight away. Apply it at the shop the same day. Leave it alone until you get home. No germs and contained weeping (although I'd have a couple of paper towels handy just in case of leak).
  5. Bring it with you to the shop and have the artist apply it before you leave . . .
  6. Limiting it to 2 sessions already? Are you short of adequate funding for a project like this?
  7. If you enjoy geometry, black and/or dotwork, check out deryntwelvetattoo on instragram. She's done some very interesting pattern work with men's and women's chests and torsos.
  8. It's pretty busy already. I wouldn't try to add more to it. Save up for some laser or a big-ass panther by a quality artist.
  9. Yeah - but airtickets, ubers/taxis, hotels/meals/drinks, a mini-vacation and several (more) hours of ink this summer isn't currently in the budget. At least not prior to tonight's drawing . . .
  10. @michaelshane bacon to go with your eggs.

    Hi everyone!

    Welcome, and nice start!
  12. I think we might have a different definition of collecting. I don't think collecting has to be a competitive event, even within yourself. "Upgrading" insinuates 1 piece of art might be better than another - whereas I "collect" what I like, regardless of whether or not it's local or distant, 1 style or another, big name or novice.
  13. @bongsau = pictures have gotta be that big to see everything that's going on . . .

    I hate summer :(

No agreement here. Having grown up in Buffalo, and lived the last (almost) 40 years down South - I much prefer a purging sweat to a bone-chilling cold.
  15. Hadn't thought about it until now - but I'm up to 5 skulls now, and have plans for more. Hmmm . . .
