  1. I think that if you just add to it it's just going to look like a pentagram hidden in some other stuff. You're gonna have to learn a whole lot about how to pick an artist and communicate what you want before covering it.

    These are true. Find an image that will remind you of her memory, something that you two shared and enjoyed. You don't need to explain an image to anyone, and in a few years you probably won't want to, anyway.

  17. Hmmmm. I've been seeing LOTS of interesting black/grey/modern coming out of Russia, but not much Japanese. On the other hand, I don't regularly track Japanese, either. Hopefully someone else here can chime in.

  19. Japanese imagery and meaning isn't my forte, but the best source for such info would be the tattoo artists who specialize in pieces like this. Where do you live?
