  1. You have a great tattoo, but if you want only the premier highest tattoo artwork it certainly can be obtained - but you'll have to be very committed to persistence, long waits, (likely) repeated travelling and high dollars.
  2. that's going to be a tough scene to pull off . . .
  3. Yep. Looks to be pretty well done.

    Hi Everyone

typically it'd take 10 posts before you can start a new thread - but you can certainly ask any questions you've got right here . . .
  6. Yeow. You just might want to re-evaluate your criteria for "friend", too.
  7. how would you depict the crow as dead? Arrows through it?
  8. Welcome, and nice work!
  9. and the 2nd from Joey Ortega https://www.instagram.com/oiseau_noir/:
  10. Here are my latest (mostly healed) additions, the 1st by Sean Herman https://www.instagram.com/seanhermantattoo/:
  11. Well, photo-realism means just what the name describes, ie: an artist reproduces a scene or picture to exacting detail. Perfect reproduction. Illustration has broader possibilities, with the artist implying the subject with his/her own flair. Here are a couple of examples in the tattoo world: https://www.instagram.com/thedrowntown/ https://www.instagram.com/teresasharpeart/ https://www.instagram.com/tpenningtontat2/
  12. Either would work, but just to make sure you understand when vetting tattooists = illustrative and (photo)realism are 2 different styles.
  13. probably better projected by an illustrative styled tattooist, imho.
  14. 2nd on all the above, and stay out of the ocean or any long term immersion (ie: read "stay out of the pool, too") for at least 2-3 weeks.
  15. depends a lot on your expectations, and how dark your skin really is . . .
  16. covering the new one with something like the 2nd photo? No. Covers work best when it can blend into a larger piece. If you're wanting to stay small you're going to need to lighten it with lazer (after at least a fair amount of healing time).
  17. Not quite as weird as actually having Kanye West in our forum.
  18. Absolutely true. All of those shops mentioned have reputable tattooists/artists who treasure the craft and should be able to assist with recommendations.
