    Hello

If you think you might be at the end of being contagious you could always offer to wear a surgical mask, too . . .
  2. Doesn't appear to be anything to worry about, but certainly won't hurt to have him take a look at it.
  3. Nice start, and agreed - don't rush it. Enjoy the process. After that = mermaids? compass? sailing ship? narwhal? shark? octopus? you may need both legs to encompass all the nautical possibilities . . .

    Ditch Healing

never heard of such a thing, but the rose looks good.
  6. Damn! I was in ROA yesterday, myself. Thomas took some healed pictures of my leg about 4pm.
  7. Not my style - but I'm sure it would ring true for some segment of the population.
  8. a true innovator and champion. Cheers.
  9. I like it the way it is.
  10. Shunga in the armpit could = blushing lady-head on the inner bicep . . .
  11. @cfmartin67 = You win the internet today. And tomorrow. Both in the company you keep and the results.
  12. Both cities have many great tattooists, but for black/grey illustrative my list includes: Sao Paolo = https://www.instagram.com/fetattooer/ and https://www.instagram.com/sevenflowerstattoo/ Toronto and nearby = https://www.instagram.com/davidglantztattoos/, https://www.instagram.com/coryferguson/
  13. You could use that as an inspiration piece for a worthy artist's own layout . . .
  14. Lasering by a competent technician will certainly work. Getting it light enough for a cover-up will be easier than trying to get back to zero.

    Cover Up Advice

"narrow target" means limited options. Darker images, especially those via cover-ups don't lend themselves to traditional feminine images. If you don't want to live with it, laser it lighter (hopefully 3-4 sessions?) to open up your options on a cover-up. There are a couple of world class tattooists in Puerto Rico - but I'm drawing a blank on names at the moment . . .

    Cover Up Advice

Right. And 'dark and feminine' is a narrow target to aim for.
  17. That won't be impossible - but you're going to have to find a great artist.

    Cover Up Advice

That depends on how big and dark you want an adequate cover-up to be.
  19. yeah, a compass can work next to almost anything. Are you heading toward american traditional stylings?
  20. Hmmmm. So you basically got 2 long, thin strips of skin left inbetween the 1st and 2nd photos?
  21. Unless you're pretty young, you do the whole Bourbon St experience in about 2 hours or less. I'd recommend enjoying the FQ during the day and heading out to Frenchman and the surrounding neighborhoods to enjoy local (non-cover) music. B&Bs in Algiers Point are an excellent choice. Casa Pelican is an great choice, and reasonable. The $2 ferry and uber are your friends.
  22. @Synesthesia If your target tourism destination is the French Quarter, don't forget to factor in parking when doing comparisons. It's gonna cost you $30-60/day, but you can always park in the Bywater and hoof it in. Downtown Tattoo is good for in/out stuff, usually - and it's right in the heart of Frenchman Street, too (an authentic local music destination).
  23. Welcome in advance to my home town! If you want something custom and can schedule 1 month or 3 in advance check out the guys at Eye Candy. If you want something quick and off the cuff = what style, and where are you staying?
  24. Yep. Talk to a few. Gather knowledge and get a feel for personalities/abilities. Sacred is a world class shop located in Auckland. Be prepared to work for it and wait.
  25. I've seen worse, but there is a good bit of dark in it - so re-working will depend on the quality of the artist, and you're gonna pay real $ for that. We might be able to send recommendations so you can get a consult and see. Where are you?
