  1. what Gingerninja said. And how old is it? Have you been futzing around with it?
  2. It looks like they were all just posted in the last couple of months. Some of them just 10 days ago . . .

    Hello!

Take it easy. Relax. Breath. No reason to be depressed, for sure. Let your arm heal for a few months. Also a historical infection doesn't mean your arm or skin is any weaker, once healed.

    Hello!

There is a trick there, because a good artist will tell you if they're not up to the task, but a bad one won't necessarily. The best defense is to spend a lot of time learning how to recognize average work from great work. Your tattoo isn't shitty - but it isn't world class, either. We've all had or have those, too. If you really want to commit to world class results you could laser at least the hair places a couple of times and lighten up everything. That would open up your world to infinite cover options with the right artist.

    Hello!

That's a very tough image to pull off as a tattoo. You would've needed an exceptional (and specialized) artist to pull it off.

    Hello!

Where do you want it? What is your vision for this very unconventional set of images?
  7. Sara Lou at Incognito is pretty good http://www.saraloutattoo.com/work-avenue/#/portraits/
  8. My advise? Quit putting anything on it. Let it dry heal.
  9. Geez. Sorry to hear all that. That's all new to me so I don't have an opinion regarding if the laser operator screwed up (not that it matters now) or if you've just got skin that reacts badly to trauma. Have you had other significant skin breakage that resulted in similar scarring?
  10. was it caused as a reaction of getting a normal tattoo?
  11. 1st = What scars are you talking about? Tattoo related scars? If yes - how did that happen? That's not normal. 2nd = Gel to remove scars? That's another new one. Is the gel a prescription? I'm never heard of anything that can remove scars - but you're going to have to elaborate on what kind of scars you're talking about . . . 3rd = I can't see the original name tattoo in those pictures, but the watercolor style is not really the best option for doing a cover-up.
  12. I like it, and would feel proud to wear something like that.
  13. If I recall correctly, @bongsau knows quite a bit about artists in that area of Canada . . .
  14. No, my wife and I got his/hers voodoo dolls from her when she attended a convention in Houston (and we were just visiting there at the time).
  15. Some of that work is pretty good. Edmunton isn't too far away, right? I've got work from Samantha Storey that I'm really happy with.
  16. That will likely depend on the quality of the artist, how big you are willing to go, and how dark you are willing to go.
  17. no problem with un-burnt but tanned skin while getting your tattoo. the important part is making sure the sun (and chlorine pool or other untreated water) stay off of it for at least that 1st couple of weeks after getting the tattoo.
  18. lots of potential there. keeping the same style and/or artist can make it seemless.
