    Scarring?

let it set for awhile. 10 days is too early to tell or get a touch-up.
  2. I like her work - but it seems more traditional than your reference photo above.
  3. Yep. both look pretty good. Of the 2 I prefer Noabn.
  4. Yeah, like @Gingerninja I put tagaderm on the next morning after unwrapping the cellophane, bacterial soap cleaning and drying. That eliminates the ooze pooling and provides the opportunity for it to stay on for 3-4 days. That being said, the 1st time I used it it went on 20 minutes after the tattoo was finished and that ooze pool stayed there for the duration. No problems experienced.
  5. Also, I've never had liquid leakage after 2 days. Did the saniderm go on immediately after the tattoo was finished (in which case initial leakage had just been being held there and it took 2 days for it to reach the edge of the saniderm)?
  6. This is greatly influenced by the style and complexity of the artist and the work itself. Geometric and/or dotwork can easily be half the application time of photo realism, and some artists are much quicker than others - so it all depends on what you're getting and who is doing it.
  7. or more, depending on how far from your heart it is.
  8. Topics of and/or subject matter for something as major as a sleeve shouldn't get much input from strangers . . . 🤐
  9. @Decay Do you mean to say you put it on immediately after getting tattooed and the cover caught the normal ooze, or are you saying you put it on the next day and the tattoo is still oozing 12-24 hours later?
  10. Yep. Getting it wet isn't a problem but you don't want to soak a new tattoo in anything. Water or ointment.

    Hi im new here

    Welcome, and yes - this^
  12. Welcome! I used to follow a Don Van Vliet.
  13. Natasha generally opens up her books via Instagram post every few months. Visiting the shop will always be your best bet.
  14. Yeah, if it's not particularly sensitive and it's not overly warm to the touch then you're probably all right.
  15. I've got 20 year old color tattoos that are almost as vivid as the day they were done. There are many factors that play into longevity, not the least of which are quality of the ink, the tattooists ability and exposure to sun.
  16. These girls are up and coming here, and quite popular locally. This isn't a walk-in street shop, so be patient.

    Hi, I'm new!

Welcome! Generally, if you've got a black outline (as above), a tattooist who is getting the ink where it belongs and if the result gets good sun protection then it's going to age well like any other good tattoo - color or black and grey. Mitch Allenden has been doing this style for years https://www.instagram.com/sneakymitch/
  18. Ok, New Orleans. I might suggest you also try and talk to: https://www.instagram.com/justinoliviertattoo/?hl=en or any of the girls at: https://www.instagram.com/tattoo__temple/?hl=en

You can come up with another way to honor your kids. Have them provide input on your next tattoo idea or something . . .

Nothing against honoring your children here, but I've seen some pretty horrible tattoos where the artist was asked to reproduce little kid's work. Either way you're going to end up explaining the result for a long, long time . . .
