Tolerances certainly are evolving, but especially in the world as it is today - you never know. Almost no one goes their whole professional life at the same job anymore, so one factor for you younger folks is - Who will I depend on for my income 20 years from now? None of us can answer that, obviously - so there is a perception risk involved. Putting ourselves out there, just a bit.

Me being inbetween the 2nd and 3rd sittings (all 3 of which are inside of a 3 month time frame) I'm finding that "the dreaded wait for it to be complete" might be just as bad as the dreaded wait to get started. It's driving me nuts to have half finished work. I wanna see the finished product.

Can't speak for hgiles, of course - but I believe in God, just not the one that is commonly interpreted by organized religion.

Bingo. And don't be in a hurry. Just like any other education, spend some time researching, absorbing, listening and learning. The apreciation for the differances between good art and great art is learned as much as it is felt.

Just asked Jeff Ensminger that question on Friday, and his opinion was/is that as long as it's only in a peeling stage (or later) then spending a little time in the chlorine pool really can't harm what's already in and under the skin. Plenty of sunscreen and time submerged within reason will be my concerns.
