I know this is not what Shawn had in mind when he started this thread, but I had to put it up here. I read an article years ago that Syd Barrett, before he died, would go out and take a photo of something then make a painting of the photo then take a photo of the painting. It really moved me, and so does the idea of these twins getting the same tattoos. I am lucky enough to have a tattoo done by Scott Harrison that is two pieces of Devita flash mashed together. One of them Thom tattooed on Scott. I don't know if it carries any thing spiritual or transcendental, but i love the tattoo, and I am extremely proud to have it.

I just saw it as well. That looks like it is going to hurt like hell.

I feel like it is George Burchett, but don't have time to do a big search right now.

For me this is as good as tattooing gets. Can't wait to see it finished. The only downside is that you have to shave your pubes for the rest of your life.

Check out the antique shop Uncommon Objects on South Congress. It has the best shit, and it is close to the bats. Have fun at the Alamo. I worked there for the year I lived in Austin, and it is the best theatre in the country.

I am from Virginia, lived in North Carolina, have messed around in pretty much every part of the US, and have gotten tattooed at Liberty Tattoo. Maybe we are related.

I think there is a photo of him getting tattooed, but not a great photo of the tattoo itself. I think the best view of it is in the movie they released last year. He is surfing and you can see it pretty well.
