  1. If Stell is not working for you how about this guy? Austin is only a little bit further. Tony Hundahl's Photos | Facebook
  2. Richard Stell is working in Dallas right now. Send an email. Drive down there. Get tattooed by Richard. Post a photo on this forum. Get lots of compliments. That is about all you need to do.
  3. I saw a bit of it on your Instagram. Looks great.
  4. I would have thought a thread called "Stupid ways I have injured myself" would have more stories about drinking than working out. I must be out of touch.
  5. I don't have a beef with Tim. He is probably one of the coolest dudes I have ever met. I only meant that he was always travelling around even before the television shows. The cancellations were not a big deal to me because I only lived a mile and a half from either shop. Of course I did not know at the time that it would probably be my last chance to get tattooed by him. Times were much simpler back then. Go into a shop leave a hundred bucks come back in a week and get tattooed.
  6. I can speak from experience on this one. When I started getting tattooed by Chris Garver he had no wait list at all. He was very well known in the tattoo community, but not at all outside of it. He started Miami Ink about six months later, and that was the end of it. At the time Chris, Tim Hendricks, and Kat all worked at True Tattoo, and getting tattooed by them was easy. Actually getting tattooed by Tim wasn't that easy because he was always taking off somewhere to surf. He cancelled two appointments with me. One at True and one at Spotlight, and then he went down to Miami and that was the end of it.
  7. Stoney St. Clair talks a little about tattooing swastikas in "Stoney Knows How". It is not his favourite design to tattoo.
  8. Mike Rennie kicks ass. Welcome to the forum, and keep working on getting a photo posted.
  9. Ship's propellers. Don't ask me to elaborate. I am not a sailor and the only thing that I really know about it is from a Sailor Jerry tattoo in the book "American Tattoo Master". I am sure that he wasn't the first to do it, but his is the one I am familiar with.
  10. The hinges on the back's of knees are awesome. All of it is awesome, but the hinges look great in that photo. I am a big fan of symmetry. I am also a big fan of random tattoo placement, and this guy has a perfect marriage of both of them. I think that keeping the knees (front and back) the same pulls everything together.
  11. Not really. When you have an abomination like that on you it really doesn't matter how fucking straight it is. Horrible judgement from everyone involved, and I hope like hell that not only is he regretting doing it, but I hope that Norm is regretting taking the photo, and putting it out there for the world to see. Also I have never been a big fan of the world's gone to shit so why shouldn't I just go along with it excuse. That is about the lamest shit ever in my opinion. I have made some bad decisions in my life and I don't think that I am a bad person. I don't think that doing the tattoo makes the guy a bad guy, but it was the wrong thing to do.
  12. I was looking at one of the Mike Malone ones the other day. It had some really cool shit in it. There is a really good Bob Roberts one as well.
  13. I saw this today and thought someone on here might be interested. The Doomsday Bonnet Daniel Higgs AIU Dan LIKE NEW Rare Tattoo Flash (0965411311) | eBay
  14. When I was in Thailand I saw a guy with a shirt like this, but instead of "LST" it said "Police", and he was actually a cop.
  15. I knew that they both did sheets for your book, but I haven't seen what they painted. Myself, my wife, and a few of my friends have a lot of tattoos from Vinse, and we always say that he is the best tattooer that no one has heard of. He is not one for self promotion, but I am hoping that him being in your book will give him some much deserved exposure. He also did C.J. Eddy sheet in the Revisited book.
  16. I am in complete agreement with these three. Matt has tattooed me for many hours and it always comes out great. Another guy that is an incredible tattooer is Vinse One. He and Matt used to work together at Liberty Tattoo in Seattle, but now Vinse is at WarHorse Tattoo in SF and Matt is at Three Kings in Brooklyn. If you like traditional American tattoos Vinse does it as good as anybody you will find, and he is an a great guy. North American Gnostic Book of The Living Matt Arriola Tattoo Vinse One | Facebook
  17. Post a photo if you don't mind. Bailey tattooed a bird on my left hand a couple of years ago, and I want him to do something on the right the next time I am in NYC.
  18. He has a good photo of it on his Instagram. dannyreedtattoo
  19. I have already said it a couple of times in this thread, but I really like that guys work. I am glad that you have introduced me to his tattooing.
