It looks like Hardy Marks is going to put out a 30th Anniversary printing of all of these later this year. It should make a nice Christmas gift to myself.

It goes mostly for the rest of us. A friend of mine is a professional drummer. He stepped on a skateboard for the first time in years, and broke his arm about five minutes into it. Getting older ain't no picnic. Break your arm when your 16, and all your friends write dirty messages on your cast. Break it when your 40, and you can't pay your bills for a month. I live in Vancouver and when ski season gets here you start seeing a ton of middle aged people with casts on their arms and legs. When you see a kid with a cast you don't even notice, but when you see an adult with one you always wonder what the hell they were doing.

I heard it looked pretty rough. Hopefully it was a nice clean break that heals well. As we get older our bones don't heal up as well as they did when we were kids.

Unless you are Danny Way or Tony Hawk don't get on a skateboard if you are over the age of 35.

Have you posted any photos of the tattoo you are getting from Brian? I would love to see it.

I doubt that Chris Conn is charging everyone $500 an hour. Weren't you tattooed by Tux? Maybe you get a little special treatment that some others wouldn't. Speaking of Devita, is anyone else on here following Chris Grosso's Instagram?

I know the price seems a kinda steep, but I am sure he has his reasons. I bet it is more about keeping pieces relatively small. He has nothing to prove, and I doubt that he wants to be working on great big elaborate pieces. $500 an hour should keep that to a minimum. My understanding is that his health was not that great for the last little bit.

Yeah that should be for two. The prices are kind of high, but not too bad by NYC standards. Everytime I dined there it was around a hundred a person, but me and my friends like to drink.

I looked through this, and all of these places are great. The one I agree with the most is Blue Ribbon. For the three years that I lived in New York I went there several times and it was always really good. It is probably not the best food in the city, but (in my opinion) it is overall one of the best restaurants. And that marrow that they show on the blog is incredible. When I lived there I was always up super late, and Blue Ribbon is open late, which made it all better.

I was there a month ago, and he was very cool. I got a great tattoo, and enjoyed talking with him. Also I received your email, but have not had time to put together a response. I should be able to do it this weekend.

I went last year not expecting much, and that is exactly what I got.
