I have an appointment with Matt Arriola on Friday. We are going to work on bringing my 3/4 sleeve down to the wrist, and my wife is going to get some more work done on her tiger. I am also hoping to get down to Olympia to get some black and grey skull type shit from Marco Hernandez. I also heard a rumor that Aaron Coleman was coming back up to Yakima in September so I am going to try and get down there for a little something. I am also hoping to pay rent in September.

Dave Lum's tattoos are incredible. The subject matter is always a bit out there for my taste, but the actual tattoos are great. Tony Hundahl recently finished a backpiece that Dave started years ago, and it looks great. The lady in the photo still lives in Austin, and is a great photographer. Besides the Dave Lum madness she also has some pretty awesome Thomas Hopper hand tattoos.

I am not sure that Walt ever had that much of a soul. I think that he was just beaten down when the show started. He had gotten wrapped up in a life that he hated, and was just pushing through it. His choices have always been pretty selfish, and ego driven. For me the thing that makes the show work so well is that Walt is a genius. He is not just some middle-aged chemistry teacher. Because he is a genius it is believable when he works things out, and doesn't get killed in the process. I don't think that being a genius makes you less moral, but I do think that it makes you less beholden to the ideas of right and wrong that most of us live under. But then again "Just because you killed Jesse James, don't make you Jesse James." So maybe Walt is a good guy caught up in a whirlwind, but I doubt it.

Paul Bosch is going to be doing a guest spot there sometime soon. My buddy Vinse was working there, but he left a couple of months ago.

OLIVER MACINTOSH TATTOO I have really been digging all of the his work, but his lady heads are exceptional. Something about the way he does the eyes gives them real life.

First healed photo I have seen of these. They look great. I like the look of tattoos that crawl up onto the neck, but are not full one side of the neck. I am thinking about doing the same thing, but using traditional roses or a couple of sacred hearts.
