    I have no idea, but I couldn't see anyone at that shop just doing a normal looking barcode, they'd have to tweak it somehow I would think.

    LUCKY. I don't see why they wouldn't, just ask them to put their style to it. It would be cool to see Santoro put his style into it. Any reason for the barcode though? They may suggest something they think would make a better tattoo.

    The only art store close is like Michaels or Hobby Lobby, which are overpriced. I'm having a hard time choose brushes and what to line with, I want to try nibs, but don't know where to start looking.

    Wanting to place the order, but not sure I have everything I'll need to start. I'd hate to order and then find out I don't have what I need and have to place another order, if someone could help that'd be cool.

    Yeah not paradise at all, but it's such a cultural place and has a pretty nice beach, and something to do for everyone. The LA area has so much to do though, that if you were to go there for the tattoos you'd have a lot to do vacation wise as well.

    I have not, but I have heard from more than a few people that it feels like that there...maybe it's certain areas or season.

    Well if you guys will be in LA, you can go to Venice beach which is awesome, and not. as muggy or miserable as Hawaii

    Not really a starter kit, just the bare essentials of what to get to start experimenting and getting a feel. I read the thread and see the same brands repeated, just don't necessarily know which of it to get. As for drawings, I've just been kinda copying (not tracing) some Sailor Jerry designs and stuff along those lines to just get a feel for the basics, and then get my style as I go. I've been searching for some cool books to get ideas from, also, but get a lot of mixed opinions on that too.
