  1. 20 month after my first appointment, after 40h in 12 sessions, my back was finally finished a week ago. I'm so happy that I'm done for now but there are already some plans if and what possibly could be my next step towards an even more colorfull body....😋 Not sure if I'll first go for my right butt cheek and upper thights or if I'll start with my arms... But well, that's the future. Won't probably get anything new until end 2019 or even 2020. At least not until I was able to put some money aside to get it done in a foreseeable period of time.
  2. Ass shot? Check Lower back painful? Check Omg, the flames and scales on the claw directly above the ass crack... But we're getting there! Probably one more session to finish the back... and then start on my right cheek/leg
  3. Just relax and do your usual aftercare and let it heal. You couldn't change anything now either way. But those lines probably won't get any thiner anymore. The skin on the ankle is know to tend to blowouts, so probably not the best placement for such a small and filigree tattoo.
  4. @Valrie11 I realy like the progress on your piece. Very nice. @Dominiccjs 5 days in a row? Omg, thats tough. Congrats, very impressive. Had another session on saturday myself. But as I'm not as bad ass as some other people her, I only managed to get about 3h done
  5. Take a look at this: Of Brigands and Bravery: Kuniyoshi’s Heroes of the Suikoden This has pictured many woodblock prints auf the 108 heroes of the Suikoden, a famous chinese novel, which is often used as inspiriations in asian styled tattoos.
  6. The german guy he's talking about is Randy Engelhard from Heaven of Colours in Zwickau, Germany. And for sure you'll have to pay an added celebrity status as Randy is a leading actor in a popular german tattoo tv reality show. Randy estimated around 7h for the chest piece while charging 1500€. That's around 200€/h, think that's a solid price for a talented and busy artist. And as he's so busy he just proposed the possibility to do this piece on a sunday for double his usual rate to get an earlier appointment. Otherwise I would expect him to have a waiting list of at least 6-12 month, if not even more (not sure about that though...). But I don't think it's possible to calculate with these numbers and just say: Well, a whole sleeve from this guy would be around 20k... Taking into account an hourly rate of 200 bucks I would probably expect a sleeve done by him around 20-40h and so by 4k - 8k €.
  7. As 2017 is ending soon I'll post a final pic of the progress we made on my dragon backpiece this year. First session was march 31st, 7 sessions overall with about 22 to 25h so far. Probably won't be able to keep that pace up in 2018, but let's see how it will turn out... Best wishes and happy new year to everyone
  8. Hmm, looks like an allergic reaction or infektion to me but if your doc says otherwise... You wrote it is about 2 month since you got that tattoo? Where did you get it? Was it done in a regular studio? Somehow it doesn't look professional to me. Very small, bad placement, no proper lining. Looks like it was done by an unexperienced inker, probably a friend or even by your own?
  9. @GraceAnnne I don't think pain medication is necessary to get your back done. Yeah, there are some pretty rough areas but with your mind in the right place you'll get through it. As always, just try to get to your appointments as relaxed and healthy as possible, get a good meal before, try to focus and accept that the pain is part of the process. Yes, it probably will hurt more or less on some areas, but as soon as the needle stops the pain will be gone and you'll for sure will survive it. And I personaly never used any stuff like tagaderm and so far my back healed fine. Well actually black still heals a lot faster than the green, especialy than the light green on my back. But if it helped with your other tattoo it probably will help with your back too. Luckily I usually sleep on my front, but from time to time I turn over on my back too. Never has been a big problem. Feels uncomfortable at most to roll on the freshly worked on back. That's when I usualy wake up... The worst that happened when sleeping on my back for some time was that my shirt stuck to my back. But well, not much of a big deal to get into the shower with the shirt. And that's only a problem for maybe 2 or 3 nights, after that this shouldn't be a problem anymore. And for the bra topic, well, can't give you much of advice on that part... @Stephanie Nice tiger so far
  10. 5 weeks since my last update, 2 appointments in between. On the first session early september we startet coloring the scales, last session was done sunday on the International London Tattoo Convention. Great experience to get tattooed at such an awesome event!
  11. Wow, 7h mainly outlining on the back and it was a breeze? Hell, everything especially on the lower back was so f...in' intense. Tailbone, kidneys, pure agony! And for me butt cheek was kinda relaxing after getting lower back worked on. There's no more to say about individual pain perception... And the itching... Well, the pain goes away as soon as the needle stops working. The itching stays for days!
  12. @Valrie11 Very nice! And the tattoo too Seriously, nice work. Who's doing that piece? 7h in a row, that's pretty tough Are there 2 older tattoos on your back that get covered in the process?
  13. Had my 4th session last saturday. Another 2,5h on the clock. Mainly added the scales, some minor details and a few shadings. Next appointment will be in 2 weeks.
