My awesome news...my new hearing aids will be in next week! F you brain tumor! I am so looking forward to the possibility of hearing people again. Then, I can ignore them if I want to. 🙂

Hi. As long as it's not infected, you are going to need to give your tattoo time to heal up!

I may extend them some day. the 3/4 sleeves rock now, as I can roll up a dress shirt and have them mostly still hidden if I want. I like that flexibility... and the surprise when someone I've known awhile finds out I have them.

Looking really nice man, Scott does great work. Also, I think the 3/4 sleeves look awesome!
Looking forward to your next set of photos.

Progress from a couple of weeks ago. About four hours here, next up is another half day to get the black into his body and get to work hiding that lower cover up. Can’t wait!
Shading was definitely a different experience from the lining, much more so than usual I thought. Had completely different hot spots as compared to lining day. Kidneys still leading the way for my least favourite spot so far though.

I always feel like they aren’t finished!
Haha!
I have a 1/2 sleeve and I can’t wait to finish it.
Just don’t have the money right now. -

It is the center of the compass that has to do with the Sword of Fudo.... Immovable... The place that keeps all things in their order.... I believe... The Book "immovable" is what we referenced... When we were drawing the piece up...
Weldon was the only person I knew Richard wouldn't be mad dogging the whole time.... Richard fell asleep on the shop couch.... I really love the piece. Never thought I would get anything above the boobs....

I really think that you are having an allergic reaction to something... I'd go to a dermatologist and/or talk to my artist(s) to see if they have any guesses/insights. The fact that your tattoo's are itchy makes me think it's an allergy.

November 28 -- 2nd sleeve begins.
Once again, we returned to the studios of world traveling artist Scott Ellis. He's spent most of the last six months hopscotching Europe. I was happy to know ahead of time that he'd be back in Austin Texas for a few week -- plenty of time to start sleeve #2.
Scott suggested we try a Phoenix for this sleeve. Seemed to fit well with the dragon. Here is his notebook prior to my arriving:
As before, Scott creates the design in freehand. Took him about 3.25 hours. And as before, he was ever the perfectionist -- at one point an hour in wiping off my arm and starting again because he felt the bird's head was an inch off from where he wanted it.
As we progress, Scott goes through about four layers, increasing the detail with ever more fine brushes along the way.
Below are layer #3 and #4:
Taken in mirror:
And at least, we ink! 2.5 hours of linework.
Unfortunately, Scott is back off to Europe... so no shading stage until April. That's okay, it is worth the wait to be worked on by a master.

my wife and myself went to high school together,we dated for a little while back then(1976/77),we were the same age and same grade,
we graduated and didn't see each other for 28 years,we both ended up single(we both went through a marriage/divorce) and a mutual friend that knew I was always hot for her mentioned he saw her at a party, anyway, fast forward to 2005,we got together and got married.
the reason for this post though is this, tomorrow night(10/20) we are going to our 41st HS reunion.(we didn't have a 40th) we graduated in 77
should be a kick.
us then and now

Took my second trip to India a couple weeks back. A truly amazing country. Any must visit tattooers in India? Specifically in Tamil Nadu?

Back to Tomo for Martin Luther King Holiday! My best friend is coming along this time and we're going to San Francisco while we're in the Bay Area, we're really excited because we booked a reservation with Saison for dinner. A completely different kind of wild ride, the good kind, for once as I'm only doing four hours a day with Tomo and will have some free time to explore with my friend.
