  1. Welcome. Analog Tattoo Arts Kolectiv is a powerhouse of incredible tattooing. Good job!
  2. It's only 10 bucks on Xbox Live at the moment. That is if you have an Xbox.
  3. We all know it was was @gougetheeyes who said that. :)
  4. That's about as perfect as it gets. Your hands naturally wear and parts tend to drop out. I don't see a single blowout on that however. That is just normal spreading. Guy Le Tattooer is a really good tattooer.
  5. Hot damn, the new Hold Steady record is helping wind down this last hour at my office job.
  6. Man, I'm so glad that @steve1461686340 reminded us of the "ignore users" function.
  7. @spookyluke Hey dude, we here are all about quality tattooing. Not homemade stick and poke tattoos. You should really watch the videos on the forum. You'll learn what brought us here and what keeps us here.
  8. This show looks better than the Richmond convention. I'm a bit jealous.
  9. Noooooooooooo @SeeSea this is a Bubbleberry thread.
  10. Just picked up Tenth of December by George Saunders. It was on a lot of lists last year. I'll let y'all know.
  11. @Shannon Shirley welcome back, and boy is it a helluva time to be back.
  12. I was bored on my lunch break, so my buddy Chris Porter at Alley Cat Tattoo cured what ailed me. Super small and right next to the knee ditch. Sorry for the leftover stencil residue. I like bright shower curtains.
  13. @Tuchaka I'm sorry man, but that "rating" system posted above you is bullocks. It seems we have had a great deal of bullocks on this board lately. You can't deduce a tattoo's quality down to those elements. Mostly you just need to look at clean lines and solid application. Trying to scientifically deduce it to separate elements based on "ratings" isn't going to get you anywhere. Use your judgement, read a book on art, etc etc. Tattoos are supposed to have a little bit of soul in them. They are not mechanical and they cannot be reduced to a 0-10 rating. This was the first book I had to purchase when I was in university, I'm not saying it's bulletproof, but it'll be more advisable than the above: http://www.amazon.com/Design-Basics-Multimedia-Edition-ArtExperience/dp/0495128457/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1395351100&sr=8-4&keywords=design+basics
  14. This topic has been beaten in the ground on this forum. That bottom one looks like a style someone developed to hide the fact they are a poor craftsman.
  15. Yeah, it's definitely flat. You need to think in terms of dynamics and how that plays with image and type. This type of stuff is my day job (not designing for piercing studios albeit). If you'd really like to see what you can come up with, spend some time looking at real design. Just google "graphic design inspiration" or "logo design inspiration" and hundreds of blogs will appear with eye candy. I hope my review was easy enough, but yeah man, right it lacks depth and character. Think of other things, not just the obvious. What esoteric or ancient or even recent history symbolism can be pulled from the name of the place? Dig deeper and you'll find ideas that are more fully engrained in the psyche of people. Fuck. I'm rambling.
  16. Never heard of em. Just kidding. I love the tattoo I have from Eli. I definitely would love another.
