  1. because you're not an old man like me! hahaha
  2. i think its more of them being technically right side up when displayed with your hands up, not so much as they are getting the image facing them.
  3. still kills it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPuvn4-x8ww
  4. i agree, i dont mind people liking what they like. my only issue with it being called country is when talking to people and getting to know them they'll ask if i like country and i now have to specify what type of country or else there is great confusion and i have them trying to convince me that toby keith is hardcore country music. haha really to me, most of the stuff from the 70's on is pop country. for whatever reason i like most of what was pop country from the 40's and 50's and most of the 60's. i know jim reeves is for sure some smoothed out polished country but goddamn that guy can deliver. same with the later more polished faron young. killer here he is doing a willie nelson tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnnA_tqGpv4&feature=related
  5. not sure who the smoozers are or even how you know of these things but you have the opportunity to define your world/your reality. i'm out here in putting in the work and trying to do my best to give every customer the best possible work i can do as well as making their tattoo experience a good one. sure i'd be nice to get any sort of comments from peers or other tattooers but in the end, the people i'm putting tattoos on are the only ones that matter. whatever success i achieve its really for one purpose and that's to provide for my family and give what i can to those that need it whenever i can. whatever element in your life is invading with these negative vibes, remove them and seek out what brings positive energy and you won't give a shit who's sucking cock or who's famous and how they got there.
  6. they were the first hip hop group to get any respect in the south and when atliens came out they actually played it on the local r&b station in atlanta. before that you'd only hear rap on that station on sunday nights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJr2H6MFBj8&feature=related and that was this song
  7. i think hank is the real deal, i don't think he is just talking about doing drugs and such just to sound cool. plus with the type of exposure and attention he gets, he never forgets to pay homage and respect to those who paved the way. i like that he has continued to try and push the extremes of country music. but then again i think that ALL pop country is bad. it bothers me that it's even called country
  8. welcome mike, you do nice work and i've heard good things about your machines as well.
  9. or that dude is going to be pissed when he does the math...

  14. holy shit! seriously, those first 2 fat boys albums and first 2 run dmc albums were the first albums i bought with my own money from mowing grass. i was in 4th grade and used to walk to the record store next the chinese restaurant that we'd eat at all the time.
  15. same here, can't figure out where to put it. the only thing i currently have multiple tattoos of are skulls and jesters. only one eagle and technically that's the only animal i've got unless you count the giant eyeball octopus creature. and a tidwell variation on the flying eyeball that's more of an eyeskull with bat wings.

  19. the burning world may be one my favorite things the swans did and they (m.gira) refused to reissue it on cd back when they did all those reissues in the 90's. ive got it on cassette and one of the few cassettes i kept.

  23. exactly, when you put your efforts into positive things and pursue the path to promote the good you do see then all this nonsense fades away. you'll also find yourself in a better mental state when you aren't getting distracted by the garbage that will continue no matter what laws, websites, or complaining can stop.
  24. just to be clear, it doesnt say he tattooed the 9 year old. that's not to say that he didn't just that the story doesn't say it was him. its at least interesting to know that this kinda stupidity isn't exclusive to america. who tattoos a 9 year old? seriously? i grew up in some hillbilly outskirts of atlanta and most kids were at least in middle school before they had tattoos (they had done them on themselves).
  25. @NickBtattoo if your up around the dayton area swing by the shop. we're in fairborn (just north of dayton) , if youre into halloween stuff at all, the downtown of fairborn this time of year is really cool.
