This Saturday will be my 2nd appointment with Jill Bonny on my backpiece.
-
I understand.

My dad got about 11 different guns stolen from him about 20 years ago in a break-in. 9 have been found and returned over the years. Still holding out hope for the other two.

LSTers coming out for SOG October 26-28
cvportagee replied to Lochlan's topic in LST Get Togethers & Tattoo Conventions
I will be there the 26 and 27th for sure. Possibly the 28th. I have not made hotel reservations yet. -
I have a Colt 1991 - - - Updated - - - I love my Mini-14, although I don't get that much use out of it anymore. As far as shotguns go I love my beretta A391 Extrema 2. I have numerous different shotguns and that is the one I grab the most often. I recently just won a Winchester M70 special edition .300 wsm and can't wait to set itp up and use it.
-
I love my 1911! Great choice. I also have a Glock 22 .40 cal and a Sig P220 .45 cal. I would recommend each one of them.
-
Congratuations! I own a lot of guns, although most most are for different types of hunting. Enjoy your pistol. What did you get/are you getting?
-
I believe that was created by Horitomo. It may even be for sale. I know Horitomo posted it on Instagram and has been posting others as well. He did sell a different one to Jill Bonny.

Post awesome things you have been doing recently

Yes, I was a professional muay thai fighter for a number of years. I have also trained brazilian jiu-jitsu, but am a relative newcomer in that. Why? -
The dreaded wait to be tattooed
cvportagee replied to slayer9019's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
Agreed. I will be there this weekend in order to finally start my backpiece with Jill. Due to some laser work, I have been waiting for over a year. -
Tattoo silhouette and negative space
cvportagee replied to Kev's topic in Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash
I am with you on the large scale Japanese work. To me it needs a background to look its best. -
I have seen your backpiece in pics. It is looking great. I am going with Kumonryu. I have a rather large space to fill (I'm a very big guy) so the rest I left up to her. I think there may be lightning because she made the comment during our consult "How do you feel about lightning?" I just told her to go to town. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

Damn, everyone has me feeling anxious now. I am starting my backpiece at the end of July. Not looking forward to the ass.

For what its worth I am of the opinion that there is still more room to put new pieces.

As a tattooed lawyer I must say I have quite a few lawyer friends who are tattooed. That being said very few of them are heavily tattooed and all of them hide it under suits including me. Now back to the actual topic of this thread, my wife has two small tattoos and supports me and my efforts in becoming heavily tattooed. In fact recently she is becoming bit by the tattoo bug and is going to start a half sleeve at the SOG convention if the booking comes through.

@jade1955 that is my favorite asahi and just a plain out good beer.

In addition to what @hogg said, I suggest you check out Gomineko books. They specialize in Japanese tattoo art and design books.
-
I also have his books and they are great. It is a really interesting look at Grime as a person. Not to mention all of his to notch work.
-
I received mine last week and I really like it. I am sure you will be happy with it.

I do not know what to say in response to that. I am in awe just reading that craziness. I will say that without seeing the tattoo laser would be a good option, however I am not sure how well it would work for just taking a line out of a tattoo. You may be better off getting the entire outline removed and starting from scratch. Just be wary that after laser you have to wait at least three months to get a tattoo in the lasered spot.

My first bike was a Honda Shadow. I have nothing bad to say about it. It was a great starter bike.

I will second the sentiment about being excited about this thread. I am a former muay thai fighter. I have trained under John Hackleman/Chuck Liddell (fought out of The Pit for about three years), Ajarn Sangvone “Andy” Khensamphaph (former Muay Thai Champion), and brief stints at Fairtext in San Francisco in the early 2000's. (When Bunkerd, Ganyao, Jongsanan, Enn, and Alex Gong were there.) I have also dabbled in BJJ. Now (after family and being lazy) every once in a while I train with some friends that are professional muay thai fighters and a few others which are in the UFC.

Hi and welcome! I lived in Austria for three months and it was awesome. (Salzburg) My wife and I are trying to get back there.

That is one awesome tiger. I don't blame you if you get a kink in your neck starring at it all the time.
