  1. I've read that article, @byzantine. It's a great rant. I don't think the U.S. show is QUITE as bad, but yes. Same issues in general.
  2. You're welcome. Have yourself a fine night.
  3. Perhaps reading isn't your strong suit, but I just said I was new here. And you are acting like a know-it-all jackass. Thanks so much for playing. Bye now!
  4. What's with all the newbie attitude? I'm pretty new here, too, and I would never presume to come in with both guns blazing like a lot of these new people. Are they trying to be assholes? Or are they just blissfully unaware millennials? I find it both strange and irritating.
  5. A girl I work with just came up and touched my very fresh, not-totally-healed tattoo. HUGE pet peeve. Do. Not. Touch. Me. But especially don't touch my fresh tattoos.
  6. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. He's awful.
  7. A lot of them are definitely awful. Tommy does some good work, but yikes, a lot of them are very bad. Same goes for the much-maligned UK show "Tattoo Fixers." The woman is a good artist, one of them does decent portraits, but the guy who calls himself Sketch (Scratch would have been more appropriate) bought a "tattoo gun" (his words) off the internet and "taught himself." He's shit, and he also steals other artists' designs and tries to pass them as his own. Except they are horribly tattooed and look like ass.
  8. Are you at all familiar with surrealism?
  9. I'm a fan of slapping. Takes the itch away quickly.
  10. I was so glad Jason beat Cleen Rock One. Why? 1) He isn't as great as he thinks he is. 2) His self-given nickname (real name: James Steinke). 3) He appears to be on speed 24/7 and has crazy eyes.
  11. Deeply stupid. Seems tailor made for Millennials who can't make up their minds or commit to anything for more than a few months.
  12. I was raised southern baptist In the south, in the buckle of the bible belt. But again, never have I encountered that kind of thing, and I'm covered in tattoos and piercings. I don't understand why you need everyone to know you are atheist. You just are. However, tattoos are a personal thing, and I guess if you want everyone to know you are atheist in this tiny, weirdly religious town, you are certainly welcome to it. It seems like you are kind of asking for people to hassle you. I don't understand it at all, but as my Mom always told me, to each their own.
  13. I have no idea where you live, but I live in the south, and I have never encountered anyone like you seem to encounter every day.
  14. You don't have to like old school. I don't like treble clefs and swirly doodahs, so we all have our own tastes. @Dan, fucking amazing tattoos, man. You look really great.
  15. I'd just do it jailhouse styleee. Totally sanitary and bound to look perfect.
  16. Got this one yesterday for Friday the 13th. I've always loved the number 13, and I thought it was a bit of fun.
  17. Tattooed on the side of my right wrist.
  18. I don't blame you for wanting to cover it up. ;-) I covered up a very small flower (ugly and badly tattooed) on my foot in roughly the same place. Had to go dark to cover it up, but I love it. You can still see the old tattoo, but I don't mind. I'm happy with it.
  19. My infected tattoo looked much worse. No scarring. Just hang in there.
  20. It isn't her first. She has one other one. But yes, I agree she should wait. I can't figure out why mine didn't hurt. But yeah. It didn't. I just felt my skull vibrating.
  21. Thanks! I adore her. She's a mess, but she is totally worth it. :-)
  22. I lost my black lab to a stroke a couple of months ago. I finally felt up to adopting a new rescue. Meet Brontë. She's a St. Bernard/possible Blue Tuck Coon Hound mix. She's going to be a big girl!
