I asked a simple question purely out of curiosity. You can't answer it? Alrighty then. I'll go with my instincts here — you are quite young.
Well said, @Graeme. (And @ChrisvK below.) I wish I'd found this place years ago. So much to learn here.
Welcome, @Reed!
@Graeme gives great advice. Don't worry about the connection—just find someone you can get along with who will get what you are trying to do. Those are the most important bits.
Chad Koeplinger and Oliver Peck were both at the Stells' shop this last week. DAMMIT. Why didn't I go over and get some work done and hang out? I am leaving this week on vacation, so that's why. BUT DAMMIT.
Words alone, no matter how they are tattooed, tend to be a waste of real estate. Only you can decide if that's what you want to do.
White ink often turns yellow, so I'd avoid a lot of it. Best talk to an artist.
My lips. Hahaha. I tend to lick my lips a lot when I'm getting tattooed (nerves or coping with the pain, I guess—maybe both), and without the lip balm, my lips get really dry. :-)
Thank you so much! I just adore it. I was playing with my new camera, so I thought I could rather easily check out how she was healing by taking a photo of the back of my leg. Haha.
