  1. Hi, Cindy. We aren't artists here. We are mostly collectors. We aren't really the right people to ask. That aside, most of those tattoo schools are frowned upon because they are purely money spinners. If your daughter wants to be a tattoo artist, she needs to talk to other artists and investigate an apprenticeship in a shop. For the record, I wouldn't let anyone who comes out of one of those "schools" near me with a tattoo machine.
  2. IT IS NOT GOING TO ERASE YOUR TATTOO. Can you confirm that you understand that? I've pointed it out to you twice, and you appear to be ignoring it. IT IS NOT AN ERASER ON TOP OF A PENCIL.
  3. You do understand it isn't going to remove it completely, right? It isn't an eraser, and it will take multiple sessions.
  4. You can't erase it. You need to let it heal, then you can have several sessions to fade it. There are threads all over the place about this kind of thing. With your level of anxiety, I wouldn't get anymore tattoos. If you want to post about it, you need to talk to go to the Initiation page.
  5. Your tattoo is healing. Leave it alone. Your new tattoo is no different than anyone else's.
  6. Read all the other posts on the same topic. The answers are there. Yours is no different.
  7. Quit putting shit on it. Just keep it clean and let it dry out.
  8. Quit spamming the page with BS links. 🙄
  9. This is not accurate. Keloids aren't that common. This person is futzing with their tattoo too much and smothering it.
  10. If you like it, that is all that matters.
  11. Read alllll the other threads about this very same topic: Keep it clean and dry. You are putting too much shit on it and smothering it. If it isn't hot with puss, it likely isn't infected.
  12. Not enough time for it to be healed. Just keep it clean and leave it alone.
  13. Find a new artist. Any artist worth his salt will have multiple ideas for a coverup. You shouldn't be looking online to inspire your artist. Sounds like a hack.
  14. I made the decision to get full sleeves, and that was that. I wouldn't worry about other people think. If that is a concern, do not get any visible tattoos.
  15. Listen to what he said. You will end up with a black blob. It's going to have to be bigger, and you're going to have to find a good artist.
  16. What are you putting on it? I think you need to keep it clean and stop putting anything on it. It looks like you are drowning it in something.
  17. It looks like a healing tattoo. You've had it a week. It takes six to eight weeks to heal, as @Hogridersaid.
  18. Bless your simple heart. Ignore list. Bye.

    Overworked?

Seriously, stop putting ANYTHING on it. Just keep it clean and let heal. 👍
  20. @Steve, this guy's user name. Really? Please do something.

    Overworked?

I tried bepanthen back in the day. It didn't really do anything for me. If you wanna put something on your tattoos (you really don't HAVE to), use cocoa butter. I use Kiehl's Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter on it tattoos after they heal because that's the body lotion I prefer.
  22. If you are going to obsess over details but are afraid to speak up about the lack of details on a stencil, then you really need to stop getting tattoos. Tattoos are NEVER PERFECT, even if you do speak up. I feel sure you'd have found something else you didn't like about it if he had gotten that right. You cannot get tattoos if small imperfections are going to bother you. You just can't. So maybe don't get anymore tattoos for now?

    Overworked?

I keep my new tattoos clean and dry heal. You really are wasting your money on those products. Don't fall for their horseshit.
