    New here

Welcome to the forum! Pictures of your 1st tattoo?
  2. Welcome to the forum! There are many more experienced folks her - and I know some will chime in - but I think it's too early to really tell since we don't know what your artist intends to do with the rest of the work. I would, definitely, communicate your concerns to the artist and ask him how he/she plans to proceed before your next appointment begins. Be satisfied that he understands your concerns and that the final piece will address them.
  3. Welcome! There is lots of info here. Search the various threads, watch the videos, check out the pictures for ideas and ask questions.
  4. As, SStu stated, the design could be covered. But you truly want to find someone who is experienced with cover-up work and has the talent to create a piece that meets your expectations.
  5. Welcome to the forum!!!
  6. Welcome to the forum! But, your question is truly one for qualified medical people, not us. Let us know how it turns out!!
  7. Welcome to the forum! Is this a new tattoo or is it new and still healing. You would certainly have options to laser or even do a cover up. The best approach is always to find an artist you trust and who does quality work to help guide you.
  8. @SStu As I was about to hit the send button I thought about posting a pic of the car...but the lack of coffee clouded that thought. Here it is: A 1996 BMW Z3 Roadster. I'm the original owner - ordered it in April of 1996 and took delivery of it (actually my wife did because I was deployed to Bosnia at the time) in Germany of November 1996.
  9. Spent the last 6 days on an annual trip we make to the mountains of NC with a bunch of car-loving friends. We stay at a great Inn located on the Blue Ridge Parkway and drive the local twisty roads, head somewhere for lunch, drive back to the Inn, put up the keys and have a few adult beverages, dinner and then do it all over again the next day. Sunday was my 62d birthday - our day to start the drive home. We opted to stay on the Parkway as far north as we could - the weather was gorgeous and everything is in bloom, not to mention the spectacular views. We jumped off at Roanoke and then headed to where we stayed overnight in Lexington, VA. On the way in, we stopped at a craft brewery in Lexington and had a beer. It was a perfect birthday...despite the fact that I'm feeling ancient...spent with the love of my life. Cheers!

    Hey there

Welcome to the forum! If you can post some pics it might be easier for people to recommend something.
  13. @oboogie Wow!!!! I hope you are OK!!!!! I can't imagine all the hell you'll go through trying to get this sorted out.
  14. Nice work and a great start! When are you scheduled to go back for coloring?
  15. Anything is possible with the right artist but based on placement so close to your knee cap you need to find a good artist to work with you and give you options.
  16. The best approach is to find an artist who has done quality cover-ups and then work with him to create a design that meets your needs - not just someone who will slap on whatever you ask for...as this one did.
  17. Welcome. How about who you are and what you are looking to get from being a member here?
  18. I kinda like the original...but I would be concerned that the fine lines will blur out and run together over the years as the tattoo ages and become a dark blob. I guess it's all about the execution of the work. Looking at the FB page, they have some nice intricate black & gray pieces so the experience and talent is there. In the end, it is your piece, your body and only you have to be happy with it. But, personally, I would want more detail.
  19. The itch is just a sign that you're healing. @Gingerninja 's advice reins supreme.
  20. Welcome to the forum! Any ideas of what type of tattoo you're interested in?
