Hello, My name is Tommy. Born and raised in Seattle. "Go Hawks". I have a scar from open heart surgery (center of my chest vertical 9"inches) as a teenager. I decided to get a tattoo, turning my scar of pain and trauma to art and mental self healing. I never thought much about tattoos until I read an article of women getting tattoos to cover a mastectomy. I didn't realize how a tattoo can help to reclaim one's body. Scar is about 15 years old. I"m going to see an artist next month. I have designs in mind, but I don't know how incorporated it to the scar I thinking of Thai art or bioMech, but open to anything that is best for the scar. *we know you ain't from Seattle when you have an umbrella :)
