  1. I know, my man, it's all good! Actually, my reply was, as well. That's my favorite schtick, telling guys they have to take it easy on me, I'm just a frail old man, all that shit, as we glove up. Doesn't work so good anymore.
  2. Always got the good stuff, Kyle! I've got to get scanning again. $45 bought you a pretty nice chunk of flash in the early 70's, if I recall, that's what I paid for the roses and banners on my forearm, and maybe $65 for the parrot on the inside of my forearm.
  3. Over 30 is old-age?!?!?!?!?!?! Shit, I'm damn near a fossil then. (don't tell that to any of the kids I get into the ring with-might make 'em overconfident)
  4. Wecome to LST, Rev, and I hope you find that for which you have come in search!
  5. Yeah, @Pugilist, just what ARE "older folks"?!?!?!?!?!?!?
  6. @Graeme, I promised ALL my kids a quicl trip to the first handy tattoo-removal location, whether it was a laser facility, or me with a fresh deck-o-squares, if they got any bootleg ink before they hit 18. So far, so good.
  7. Simple. An outhouse in the rain, with the users birchbark canoe in front of it, waiting to take them over the falls in front of it.

    Bonjourno!

Buongiorno, Compare. Welcome to LST, and hope you enjoy your stay!
  9. Happy Birfday, LST, and many, many thanks and much respect to Lochlan and all the staff on keeping this an interesting and valuable resource.
  10. I'll flip this one around... The day my oldest turned 18, I did my best to stop him from running off to the closest tattoo parlour. Didn't work. He ended-up with 'zactly what I warned him he would, a faded-out, spotty, p.o.s. TRIED to talk him into letting me take him to CTC, but NO.....had to be right this frkn minute! Now, my next one down, he was smart, I took him to CTC, and he got some real nice work from Nick there. Next son in line is about a half-year out, and already working on his designs, and the daughters, well, they aren't into it, yet, but as long as they go to a GOOD tattooer...
  11. Hi Terry, and welcome to LST...now get yer butt in gear and post up some of yer work!
  12. Unfortunately, a member who rarely has time to get online! Little kids n long hours do tend to play hell with your comp time.
  13. I don't think ol' boy forgets too much...

    Hello from...?

Dude. Totally in awe. Went to Thailand with every intention of getting a temple tattoo...unitl I saw them using the same "needle" and inkpot on all of the people in line for them.

    Hello

Welcome, Ismael! Have fun here, and enjoy the boards!
  17. Welcome to the boards, Cheese-Bro!
  18. Hey, is Jamal that guy that was on all the vids tattooing himself, 14 in one day or somme damn thing?!?!?!?
  19. Hope you grabbed onto that one-that's some prime ink right there!
  20. Ya kno, I've thought about that vis-a-vis CTC. I've sat for Nick Colella and watched Mario Desa, David McNair, Erik Gillespie, Mike Dalton, either drawing, tattooing, or just kicking it, and it's just like, damn! Any of these guys does absolutely world-class work, I sure hope they don't ever get the idea I'm dissing 'em by not having anyone else but Nick work on me.
  21. Damn! Three days and no one sez hi...some hard-hearted mofos around here, boy, I'll tell ya! Bienvenidos a LST there, McAllen, and I hope you enjoy your visits here-I look forward to reading your posts!
  22. Why go to De-Toilet when you can get what you want right here at home!?!?!?!?!
  23. @Heidi...call Miles, honest. http://milesmaniaci.com/images/tatoos/dogarmmain.jpg Other than that, take a trip to Moscow and book Den Yakovlev-none better for picture perfect portraits, and the airfare is low these days.
  24. Put my first one on myself when I was like 13, but since that was the same year dear ol' mom signed me over to the State of Illinois, she didn't have much to say about it.
  25. Done with a syringe by injecting dye directly under the membrane of the surface of the eye. Watched a show this last week of two um, gentlemen in a correctional institution who had done it themselves. Hey-whatever gets you through the night, but speaking as someone working on one eyeball, after eight operations back when they used knives to slice 'em, there is no frkn way I would let anyone near my eye.
