I want to get a 9 tailed kitsune, but i want it to have the vibe and feel of the Japanes style tigers. In other words i dont want the fox to look silly, cute, whimsical... I have 40+ hours of Japanese style stuff already and hopefully i can get a sitting with Dana Helmuth again, but would consider some local options also like Brian Bruno, Jinx Proof, or even Chad Koeplinger... thoughts, ideas, advice?

Hello everyone! Love the site and the atmosphere here! I am from Charlottesville Va and An avid tattoo collector. I am really into Japanese style and have about 20 hours of ink from Dana Helmuth and 20+ from others. Basically chest panels and half sleeves. I am considering getting more ink, but i am not a good traveler, so I hope to get some ink from Chad Koeplinger or Jinx Proof (Tony Morrell) in DC or Brian Bruno in Richmond. I really dig the Neo style too like Filip Leu, Jess Hori Yen, and Shige; but those tpes of artists round here are rare as hen's teeth. Anyway. Love the site!

I think Shane is leading the pack now, and he seems to have taken the role of asshole in the house since Al left. His beveled star was bad ass though withe the double outline. I dont care what they thought of the color in it. The critera for the challenge was accurate line work and killed everybody else in that regard. Besides, the client picked the color. James Vaughn specializes in Japanese, but i dont like his style much. I thought Shanes koi was pretty damn cool, even though they said the tail was too small.

That girl Lea kicked ass this past week! I was shocked actually.
