  1. No, but back in the 1990's one of the guys I worked with saved a spreadsheet and it was so big it wouldn't re-open. We had to double his memory from 8MB to 16MB and it cost several hundred dollars!
  2. I've just let him do his own thing and it's worked out great. I'll post pics when I get it done. Next appt. is July 7 with a follow-up August 16 and probably another couple after that.
  3. Jesse Tseronis at Sakura Tattoo in Winchester, va. Sakura Tattoos | Sakura Tattoos
  4. I can't wait to see that finished. It already looks awesome. I'm having Jesse add a chest panel to match my sleeve. I was thinking about a hannya mask, but decided to leave it up to him. I know he'll come up with something great. Of course this puts off adding color to the sleeve, but my main concern is letting him get the flow right without worrying about me be in a hurry to get to the color.
  5. Just a joke. Everybody makes mistakes, some people just pay a higher price for them. A guy steals $100 from a liquor store he goes to jail for 5 years, a guy steal $100,000,000 from a bunch of poor working stiffs and he gets a million dollar pension.
  6. Maybe he can get them touched up next time he's in prison. That shouldn't be too long!
  7. I tried the search feature, but didn't find what I was looking for. Who really nails Religious Themed tattoos in the general Washington, DC area? Not restricted to Christian themes. I would go farther afield if necessary, but would prefer to stay within a couple of hours driving distance to the DC area. OK, I'll drive as far a needed! Thanks!
  8. Nothing wrong with Koi, I'm working on a Koi and Koi-Dragon sleeve right now.
  9. I don't see many foo dogs. Octopus and Hannya masks are a little more common, but still less common that Koi and Dragons.
  10. Sorry, can't answer that one. I've never had a scab. Finally putting my anal retentive nature to good use with my after care.
  11. Wait until it heals and then get out your ruler! At my age when I think something isn't perfect on my tattoos I just take off my glasses and then everything looks fine.
  12. My brother had one of his friends working for him. The guy developed a drinking problem and after numerous warnings my brother had to fire him. The guy and his wife were really mad, telling my brother what a prick he was and how he let his friend down. I told my brother that if that ass hole was REALLY his friend, he wouldn't have put my brother in a position where he had to fire him. You're not the bad guy, the jack ass that makes you lay down the law is the bad guy.
  13. Anything that TV didn't teach me I can learn from the internet. Isn't Kat Von D the best in the world???? Now, let me tell you what my tattoo means to me ... my mother died before I was born and my father abandoned me before I was conceived, but this tribal koi riding a skull and fighting a dragon tattoo will make everything all right!
  14. Some people are just douche bags. Regardless of any friendship, your tattoo artist should be treated with respect and your appointment should be treated as a business transaction. Try showing up at your dentist, doctor, lawyer, mechanic's with no notice and ask them to drop everything to help you. A lot of professionals charge people who don't show up for appointments, and they should. When you bail on an appointment you are taking money out of the artists pocket and leaving him unemployed unless a walk-in happens to show up. That's not how you treat friends.
  15. When I'm on business, I respect the fact that I'm representing my employer and cover up. When I'm on my own time I don't worry about it. If you don't like my tattoos, turn your head. Nobody seems to be worried about offending me with their conservative, flat-earth, opinionated, narrow-minded attitudes, why should I worry about offending them?
  16. "Stopped checking up on this shit forum since this thread. Oh, fuck. Didn't exactly mean shit forum, just the large majority of people that post in it, are shitty people. " You didn't know that this is inappropriate? There's an old saying, "Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining." Try being a man, which means not making excuses for your behavior. That's really insulting. We all do stupid shit once in a while, just own it.
  17. Anyone thinking of giving advice may want to read this thread, also started by the OP; http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-101/2140-anyone-care-help-tattoo.html Particularly this:
  18. Reread the thread, you got all kinds of advice, some of it joking, but a lot of specific ideas. You just didn't get the advice you wanted. Read below, it contradicts what you just posted. Sounds like you already knew what you wanted.
  19. And admit they were wrong??? Surely you jest.
  20. If he was really good he would have to advertise, he could rely on word of mouth!
  21. I resent your attempt to curtail my constitutional right to jerk off when and where I want!
  22. I don't think you'll put a crimp in anyone's style here. You are assuming that 50% of the people who walk into a tattoo shop are offended by porno. For me it depends; are you talking about playboy or graphic hardcore porno. Playboy I don't care one way or the other and I don't think 50% of the people who are getting a tattoo care either; hardcore porn, I agree and I wouldn't go to a shop that had that laying all over the place. As far as being judged by appearance, as a man with long hair, tattoos and motorcycles, I think I may have encountered some judgmental people in my day.
  23. I can tell by your language that you are a lady of class and breeding and easily offended.
