I learned at art history that it's paintings with objects about life and death. Mostly with a skull (death) a candle or other lightsource (life) and then objects that mean something to the painters life (books or other items) Not 100% sure on that though, my art teacher was a really weird smelly guy who sniffed some terpentine every now and then ;)

Is it dried up animal blood that they ground up to a powder? I hitched a ride with a truckdriver transporting that stuff and he explained they basicly use it in everything that's red nowadays. I never thought of it being in tattoo ink but i guess that could be possible. Makes me curious, if you don't want it out on the forum you could PM me (if you want that is) Cheers

When i left home 5 months ago to go hitchhiking around i would have never guessed I'd be looking for an appartment in Vienna, Austria, with a girl I met on the side of the highway somewhere in Austria but that is exactly what we will be doing tomorrow. We have an appointment to look at a sweet place in the center that won't eat all our savings. Today we hitchhike over there. Pretty nervous for the whole moving to another country thing but extremely stoked at the same time. Wish us luck!

I miss being crippled the day after a good leg workout. I miss lifting in general. Seems you got a pretty sweet routine going on! respect for sticking to it, not that many people go through on programs.

Since I haven't really been home the past 4 months cause of traveling n stuff I haven't been to a gym for the same time. Soon I'll move to Vienna in Austria and once I have a job there and can afford it I will find a good gym straight away. Man i miss lifting. Noone posted here for 5 months but I take it everyone is still going strong?

Took me sometime to come up with any criticism but since you asked for it i went into grumpy old person who sees wrong in everything mode and found something :D The left leg of the panter seems to be going through the body of the snake instead of the snake wrapping around it. That's all I could find. Damn this thread makes me wish i had artistic abilities, you're all awesome!

Hey everyone, Since me and my girlfriend will move to Vienna in september we are in need of a good shop where they put down solid traditional work. We prefer a shop where everything is covered in hand painted flash. any tips are welcome!

the pain and the swelling is something I can live with, the itch however makes me want to off myself. Every time I heal a tattoo it catches me off guard and then it won't leave me alone for days. Makes me go insane

I did it. I went through all 402 pages of this thread again and some of the old tattoo pictures I remember being stoked on seeing years ago and they still bring a smile to my face. You guys saved an at the time 18 year old kiddo from making horrible life choices. I love you all and I love this forum. Keep on being awesome!

awesome :D well i have the oposite expierence with Slovenia haha, when i hitched there about 1,5 months ago I broke my record for longest time waiting at the same gasstation and highway entrance.. Twice.. once i waited 6 hours and once 9. Ive found Germany and Denmark really easy for hitchhiking, cant wait to try eastern Europe more though:) If anyone is interested in the link to the facebook page i made with travel pictures and stuff sent me a PM, i think ive spammed this forum more then enough with it haha

in about 10 days my girlfriend and I will hitchike up north to visit @Johannes again in Gothenburg. So im pretty stoked for that! We also made plans for later in the summer to hitchhike from Budapest in Hungary through Czech, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania to the northern part of Estonia and back to Germany from there. What's also pretty sweet is that I found a way to embed a paypal donate button on my hitchiker facebook page so I hope that will generate a little bit of extra income for on the road. All and all im really excited for the next few months!

After 2 months of hitchhiking i've now been back home for a week. Figured i'd introduce my girlfriend to my parents and see my friends again so we are here for a total of 2 weeks. It feels good seeing everyone again and walking around a city that you know like the back of your palm. Your cats are assholes though haha! Awesome thing i have been doing? Hitchiked to my hometown in the Netherlands yesterday with my girlfriend. We made it in 15 hours. First time in 2 months since I've been home. Feels good to be back. We will be here for about 2 weeks and next month we will pay @Johannes a visit again. Hanging out with him will guarantee the best of times!

So we can cry ourselves to sleep after watching another show raping the thing we love so much?
