  1. the spot on my arm I hated the most. I appreciate ones that accent the action of the ditch, but anything there that looks good is a tattoo that works. Nothing beats a good ol' hinge but I can't find any good ones. Wish I had ore time to fish around on IG and whatnot but I'm on my way out the door to work. So here's some shit from Google. Sorry for sizing, I'm in a rush.

I'd post mine, but they aren't stand-alone tattoos; the ditch in an over-all sleeve aren't quite the same in impact.

  2. kinda looks weird to see his stuff in a fancy and expensive frame. thought about it myself when i got my first piece from him but it looks so foriegn and out of place in a fancy frame.

i understand why you want to but it looks so odd and personally i decided not to do it.

i think there is a reason why he doesnt hang his own work like that. i didnt go to the kings ave exhibit, but i did see photos, and every other time i've seen his shows the prints were taped up, and when i went to his house he doesnt go fancy with it either.

imo i suggest thinking outside of the box, or frame is it is, and try a different approach. maybe construct a frame out of found materials or old wood?

that's what i wound up doing with the first print i got from him; i used some old weathered wood boards that i found and used nails and cardboard and tape to construct it and (reluctantly, ha) used a piece of normal (i know its not uv but whatever) glass i had cut at the hardware store. you can bite my style if you want i dont mind.

not that i am poo-pooing expensive framing. i spend a mint on framing a big print by Joel Long and it was worth it.

  3. what kind of music (if any) do you guys run or work out to?

for the longest time i was just au naturale while running at the beach but now that its nippy and windy i use the gym, where i use a beatles or willie nelson playlist.

not your typical workout music, but it works for me for a long (hour or so) run.

but my new shit is drankenstein.
