I saw mastodon in Orlando with cursive and against me (odd fucking mix). I had no idea mastodon was playing or prepared for metal. Me and my friends thought against me were up next so we got in the middle of the crowd. The curtains went up and fucking mastodon ripped us all a new one. Pit broke out right where we are and we all got our asses kicked unexpectedly. It was chaos

I've been wanting to but can't think of anything yet. My first board was a Jamie Thomas zero but I already have a lot of skulls on me, I need to switch it up

Cool idea, I've been contemplating an X-ray related one since I graduate in June...but a mike Wilson tattoo will do the trick

Just a shot in the dark since I know texas is pretty close, but do you guys ever venture to Florida? -
Right on, were you able to pick everything back up quick?

Right on I'll keep at it. People make excuses for their own laziness. Screw em. It's not that I can't go below but it causes me a lot of pain. I can't even do a full body squat below parallel, I topple over -
I understand I had the luck of starting young at like 10 (still remember the moment I ordered my first board from ccs) But once the basic Ollie, kick and heel flips and 180s are down it becomes so much easier to combine them when you know exactly where to flick and shit. My nephews getting old enough I'll finally get the honor to teach him. Stoked

I'm extremely jealous. Ive been wanting to build one for years. I'll forever be a street skater but there's something sorelaxing about flowing on a half pipe. I took a 4 year hiatus and picked it back up a couple of years ago but I honestly think I'm way better now in terms of style and consistency. Im just nowhere near as ballsy. I need to learn some new shit already

No worries man, that's still fun as shit. I'm the only one of my friends who skates anymore and that shit gets lonely. I don't think I'll ever be able to give it up for good, although rails and crazy shit are out of my reach now since I can't break bones or I can't lift fat ass patients

Anyone on this forum skate? The lifting thread inspired me. I skate on and off, but it's just like riding a bicycle. Never lose a trick no matter how long the hiatus is. What's your biggest accomplishment skating? I'd have to say mine is 360 flip and bs flipping an elongated 4 stair. Not shit, but a personal accomplishment for me

I love squatting, I just want to get the damn form down. I've got a friend who owns a crossfit gym and her and her boyfriend are both trainers, sent him a video of my squat form and said everything looked fine just a buttwink and not enough depth. Everything else I feel is fine and when watching my own videos, I can see form progression, but the damn depth will be the death of me. I can really only get just above parallel on my first couple of sets and I get much deeper on the last set so I know it's flexibility. Do you think parallel or just about can lead to injury if the knees track the toes and everything else is tight and in line? I've been skateboarding for a good couple of hours in order to limber up before my work outs (plus it's damn fun and good cardio) Checking link now -

What do you guys think of mark rippetoes starting strength? Haven't worked out in over a year but started back last night. Feels good man. Also, on squats when starting out is a parallel or just above okay until the hip flexors get more used to it? I remember getting frustrated trying to go ATG and got fed up. -
There's just so many amazing artists around in Cali. I live in northern Florida, and there's just not as many around here or even ones who travel here. Of course, mike wilson and the dudes at Inksmiths are an exception. And big Kahuna, but thats 9 hrs out of the way

2 weeks after I turned 18, went in with an image and said I wanted a "half sleeve" and wanted that image to fit my arm and look more like a tattoo. Huge burley dude. I was too nervous to shop around for an artist, so he ended up doing it. Dude was wheezing so heavy throughout the entire thing. Was so stoked on it afterwards, but as weeks went by I was like "fuck" Got more tattoos from the same shops and came to find out the dude was helping out the owner by tattooing and he mainly does airbrush work with a side of tattooing. He no longer tattoos at all. Moral of the story: take your time and shop around.

I echo every one and say save your money. Don't miss the opportunity to get a fucking stellar tattoo since you're in Cali, over the issue of money.
