I like the notion of different as well. But for such a big area, I think a classic will sit right at home for me. That's why adding a snake will take it a little beyond different (for me) while keeping it a classic. Plus a snake will add some needed asymmetry.

Right on I've yet to invest in home audio not until I get a bigger tv. But I do have a gnarly sub system for my laptop. Like a damn dj booth in my room

If were talking car stereos, I used to be. Got 2 12" type R alpines with a bass booster in ported box. Alpine dash and alpine amp. My stereo set up is more expensive than my car when I bought it (cheap car)

Going to inksmith and rogers next weekend, and a thought occurred... while I'm there I'll go ahead and set up an appointment with Mike Wilson for my chest.

But I can't decide which battle to go with a snake and eagle (not comparable in size as @Iwar 's would be) or maybe a cat/snake cat/eagle or some other battle. I figure I could just ask Mike which he'd be more down for, but maybe some input from the fellow community will help steer me in the right decision.

Sidenote: This whole not being able to make a solid decision on a tattoo is becoming a nuisance; everythings just too good!

My dad had some of the great designs, eagle, crawling tiger, lion so I was always aware of tattoos. Not sure when I actually NOTICED them, but probably due to my interest in heavier metal.

to get a tattoo is very expensive. i recently got a quote of $180 for a TINY LETTERING.

Welcome to the world of good tattooing. To take a cheap route is to cheapen the tattoo and the experience itself. Take a step back, and ask why you really want a tattoo.

Also, I hope you dont want to tattoo for solely this reason? "well they charged this, I can draw the basics, I can do it just as well...."

Awesome man, real informative. Some tourist sights I may HAVE to see but for eats and brew, I always prefer the natives advice in any city. Plus dive bars are my preference. I was worried about costs of food/drinks.

How long would you recommend a minimum stay? I feel a week would be a good start. And I would definitely have to get more than one tattoo while there
