Winner winner chicken dinner ^^

As of late I've been on a real kick checking out handcrafted stuff. I've been digging men's jewelry a lot lately and been interested in purchasing some quality rings. Ive emailed bailey Robinson already and a real fan of his work, but he only makes em as he goes and no custom orders. I just found a site called finelighttrading.com (also on Instagram) and will possibly buy from then soon.
Do you guys have any recommendations for nice handcrafted things like money clips, wallets, rings etc?
Or even other various handcrafted items like deerjerk on instagram does

I wouldn't advocate this or make it a habit cause chlorine is nasty, but I have swam in chlorinated pools twice in the last year a couple days after getting a tattoo and they both healed fine. Keep in mind both were palm sized one shot tattoos, and I could tell right away I wasn't going to have much issue. I made sure to put some aquaphor to create a barrier and wrapped with saran then put a head band over saran to keep in place. In hindsight that was complete overkill and unneccesary. In fact the spider tattoo on the IG feed was healed in less than a week. Like said before if you are a mess of scabs, best to stay out of the pool, but I have always found the sun to be more of an enemy than the water. That being said, everyone heals different and every tattoo heals different, but once you have a few tattoos, you get to know at what point your tattoo is done being vulnerable to the elements, there is nothing magic that happends two weeks after your tattoo.
Yea you're probably right. I figure its gonna be a one time day of swimming and then ill go back to lettin it heal properly.

why can't you just spend the time with her & have fun without swimming ?
I wouldn't risk a lifetime long tattoo for one a dip in the water.
Because its a group event, and that's the activity she chose to do. My timing is always impeccable

Yea if its scabbing I won't, I'm gonna baby the shit out of it til then

I think ill have to cause it'll be the last chance to see her before she leaves

Back of my thigh winning the pain contest so far by a MILE
Ill agree with this. It hurt worse than my entire chest did. Did not expect that

I'm aware of the risks of swimming before your new tattoo is healed, but how bad really is the ocean for a tattoo that's a little over a week old?
Just got it Friday, but my friends moving to Hawaii next Tuesday so they want to do a boat trip on Sunday. Normally I'd sit it out, but she's leaving for good and can't just sit at home. It's on the back of my thigh so the sun won't be an issue, but ill definitely be swimming.
Will it really be that terrible if its during the Peeling stage and covered?

Jason Kelly at Live Free in Atlanta, GA. Nicest dudes.
My girl got a sweet hour glass from Miguel O.
Back of thigh is by far the worst tattoo pain I've felt.
Goes right on to my ass cheek with the tongue, but Jason drew it straight on and was super fast and a true dude to the tradition of tattooing. Walked away with a cool tattoo, some prints from Miguel and a cool ass experience from all of them. Oh yea my appt got delayed because
Myke chambers was getting tattooed by Jason. NBD
Also, a drunk chick asked to watch me get tattooed so I said yes. She then proceeds to massage me and tries to cop a feel under my shorts all while getting tattooed. Thankfully Jason kicked her out. Fuxking weird

In Atlanta GA. And got tattooed by Jason Kelly. Had to wait behind myke chambers to get finished first (no big deal). But I got a snake/skull combo on the back of my thigh and it fucking sucked. The tongue goes right onto my ass. I now see (a glimpse) into the pain of an ass tattoo.
The guys at Live Free are stand up guys and was quite possibly the best experience at a tattoo shop I've had. Ill post a pic at the end of my vacation with more details.
I do think ill be taking a tattoo hiatus after this considering I've gotten tattooed almost every month this year. And rents due so that's kinda important I guess.

DAMN that's a nice one!
Thanks! It was his first dagger through the neck. Oddly enough he's never gotten that request.

Awesome! I met Jason last month. Great shop and group of guys! Can't wait to see the outcome!
Me too, I love the fact that he's into biker tattoos and shit seeing as that's what I grew up around.
My friends getting a tattoo from Miguel. It's gonna be a good weeekend

Going to Atlanta to visit live free tattoo and get tattooed by Jason Kelly. We decided on a skull/snake combo going on the back of my thigh. Can't wait, he's one of my favorites as of lately

I just go with a spot at this point and then it opens up other random spots and the more I fill it up the more cohesive it becomes. I get stoked after a tattoo now cause I'm like oh shit, I could put "random tattoo" there

Yea I'd be skeptical about keeping it unchanged. Hell, I get a slight sense of nervousness just having a "13" on me in fear of running into an MS13 gang member.
I will say I'm really glad I opted out of the original design inwas going to get with my Friday the 13th tattoo. My buddy just bought the Russian criminal tattoo book, and we were going through all the symbols. At the last second I opted out of getting one next to the 13. Although it would've been cool, I share the same sentiment that its a bit disrespectful because it holds no meaning to me other than being a tattoo.
Plus I just don't wanna get stabbed. It's a bad look for me

"How'd you get a pizza face tattoo?" Because the artist drew a pizza monster. It mostly comes down to an artist and their style. Others are just up to asking. I told Jesse Gordon I wanted a dagger through something weird. Lets get weird was my motto. I came out with an eyeball being daggered. I think getting weird tattoos are some of the finest. Sometimes you just gotta get weird

Hi all,
Thanks for responding to my post, you are all right, it is up to the artist what they charge, they do have to set everything up and yeah, I could get this done in conjunction with another tattoo. I have swallowed my "cost concerns" and have scheduled an appointment to get the color. Avery, I totally agree with you in regards to waiting but I knew I wanted it colored when I got the original tatoo but I didn't know if I wanted it to be silver, gold, copper, etc. In the end I am going for rose gold. Wish me luck and thanks again everyone.
Solid decision, I personally liked the get another tattoo one because what's better than one tattoo? Twooo

They're tattoo artists for a reason. Leave the artistic decisions to them
Dry healing
in Tattoo After Care
Posted
I'm not a fan of aquaphor, on large tattoos its annoying. I just dry heal with some lotion after a week of healing. No problems no worries
