This is pretty much how I think about people's tattoos. If one likes the tattoo he have, it shouldn't be my problem if I think otherwise. I never ask anyone's opinion about my tattoos simply because I don't care other's opinions. My tattoos are mine and for me, not to a girl next door.I happen to like tattoos which aren't looking like they were ripped off from some kids' coloring book - or even worst, from the latest tattoo mag. I like my tattoos looking rough. Like they were made by some bad ass M.F. using guitar strings. Treasure for me, trash to some... Peace.

Have inks changed during the years? I got my first tattoo in the 80s, a little ordinary rose. The red part of the tattoo was just killing me. I thought it was because of the poor tattoo "artist". Back then there weren't too many tattoo places and this guy was the only one I knew. It took several years and a few new colorings before someone said to me that I could be allergic to red ink. Couldn't believe something like that and took a new tattoo. Same shit with red and orange ink.Since those days I've stayed with b/w tattoos only (or grey scale, what do you call them). Now I definitely would like a colorful tattoo, but I don't know... I think I'm gonna take some small reddish tattoo somewhere where sun don't shine and see what will happen:cool: Do any tattoo artist here know are the colors still the same as in the dark 80s?

I'm 40+ male who was banned for life here. I was recognised as "known spammer":D There are still some justice and this nasty allecation was flush down the toilet. I've been into tattoos for my whole life. My grandad was a sailor and he had several cool old school tats. I always wanted to go to sauna with him so I could see the tats better:) When he got older the tats turned into some sorta ink mess. But they still were the coolest ones ever. My dad had three tats and one of them included my name. I was very pround of that. My mom told me when I was just a lil brat I used to draw some pics to my hands etc. It's a shame there aren't any photos of them left. My first tattoos. I got names of my kids tattood on me + some more. Really old tats and definitely look like that too. Still really precious to me. I would like to get some new ink, but the money is the problem. I'm REALLY glad I found Last Sparrow Tattoos. People here seem to appreciate the kinda tats I like too. Have mercy!
