  1. Hey,

Can we se some photos or hear some stories about your Tattoo Circus? Heard it was a good time!

  2. I get that. So do it now, now that the danger has passed.
  3. Why didn't you?! It was a great idea, and now you can live the dream, just not with Kat.
  4. If you have a burning desire to be tattooed on NY Ink or by Tim Hendricks, here's your big chance. My story behind the next tattoo I want from Tim is just dumb enough that I bet they'd take me: NY INK « Saltwatertattoo

    help

The best way to begin to learn about tattoos is by getting them. But consider yourself warned, that shit hurts!
  7. Joe, glad you're enjoying the site. Maybe post a hello/something about yourself in the initiation thread a day or two before posting paintings, so people have an idea who you are. Not that they don't stand by themselves, it's just that buying art is more fun when it feels a little more personal, right?

    xoxoxo!

  8. Great story! I think some of the tattooers on here should start duplicating this experience for newbies whenever possible.
  9. Tammy, when camping this past week, we threw about 25 potatoes wrapped in foil into the fire a wood burning stove. An hour later, I ate 3 or 4 of them. There were maybe 20 other things I could've eaten, but the fire baked potatoes were addicitive.
  10. One time in NYC, these Canadians who were friends with the friend I was staying with checked out of their room, and then came to ours for a little visit. Then then remembered that they left 10 lbs of weed in their rooms freezer. They actually decided to go question housekeeping, who happened to be Jamaican, who laughed and told them that they had thrown out their "stinky vegetables." They then went down to the trash area, where more housekeeping staff informed them that their "stinky vegetables" had been disposed of properly.
  11. Helsabot, Generally what screams "first tattoo" when I see it on someone's body is that it's too small. When you do decide on a design, don't worry about it being too big, maybe go a little bigger than you think, or trust what the artist has to say. Loch's right, there are quite a few amazing tattooers in the Bay area, I'm sure if you pick one off the preferred artists list you can't go wrong. I like your design, but whether or not I like it is completely irrelevant, it's your forearm. Let us in on your process as it unfolds, and thanks for being brave and putting it out there.

    Howdy

Nice to meet you in Philly, and thanks for the shirt. I've already worn it about 4x, which is a lot for a gal with a rather full closet. Thanks again!
  13. Great article, Luca! If I'm ever in Milan, which I suspect I will be within the next 2 years, I will come check out your cafe. Thanks for sharing the link.

    gyspy girl

    She's real purty.
  15. Dammit! It's impossible not to be trendy, just got an outline on my solar plexus/bottom ribs. Guess I should've kept with my original idea, microscopic text in the shape of a robot behind my ear.
  16. I think that's a pretty good idea, any other moderators think that maybe we could put it after new/updates, but before the general forum?
  17. Nikki Balls rules! Welcome to the forum, thanks for the pics.
  18. Lines for the elevator super sucked when I was just trying to get me and my 2 kids back to our room. They definitely need to have a bigger, and more than one, entrance and exit, I'm surprised the fire marshall hasn't objected yet. Where is your bar? After the convention, I was staying with a childhood friend on Katherine and 3rd, not far from South St. I didn't go out much at night, just walked over to Horizon restaurant as it belongs to another friends' brother. What neighborhood do you live in? I've seen a few Liberty Bell tattoos, but Pass and Stow is rich. But 5 days a week for 6 months? Are you a man of mystery, or can you tell us why the Liberty Bell had such a strong pull for you?
  19. Barb, I love that you love that resort like I love Vegas. Its kind of the Dave and Busters of the Caribbean!
