  1. I just Googled Tom of Finland sitting here at work. I think I'm flagged by IT now. Thanks.
  2. Great Vid @Lance. Thanks for posting it. Seeing the full suits moving in video is way more impressive than seeing a still picture of it.
  3. Heading back to Dana on June 10th for some ass line work. It's bound to be an exquisite experience. I'm tempted to get some painkiller, but I just feel like that would be a cop out. More importantly, you'll all get to see my ass.
  4. @faw3310 you will not regret that decision. Kore is awesome. And of course best of luck with getting in to even better shape. No reason to stop!! Your tattoos will only look better.
  5. Nair. Works every time. I use a safety razor for my face and any other time I feel like cleaning up my body hair, it works great. But with hair removal before a tattoo I don't even risk it with a razor. Just Nair.
  6. I don't care who likes what tattoo, but as soon as I see someone get their last name tattooed huge on their back and posts it in the "Latest tattoo lowdown..." thread, like it's the greatest tattoo of all time, that's when I will have a problem. I met hogg in real life just so that I could have a character witness for not getting banned if I act like a douche on the internet. :)
  7. Ah ok so the fine line is also called single needle. I didn't know the lingo. It might not have been as bad if it weren't the last thing he did on me after already laying there for 5.5 hours, ha. And here is a cool pic of the face that I (my wife) took so you can see it more clearly.
  8. Has any one else received any thin lines on their tattoos? The hair on my Kongo Yasha is all thin lines, and it was probably the worst 30 minutes of tattooing that I have ever suffered. I am curious if it was just the spot on my back, or the fact that thin lines hurt like hell anywhere.
  9. Looks awesome @ironchef and @velodemon Here is the start of mine and I love it! Dana Helmuth all the way.
  10. It's going to be Kongo Yasha Myo-o. This guy, with influence from this statue. I haven't seen the design yet, but I'm pretty sure he is going to knock it out of the park. Can't wait to see more of the progress on your back.
  11. Well, I just prepped myself for my appointment with Dana tomorrow. I'm no stranger to hair removal, but to only have cleared one side of my body just feels really weird. Shoulders to knees is now as smooth as it's ever been. Hopefully that will help make me feel less awkward. He might be used to it, but I'm not. :o
  12. @Wilhell posting his back piece made me curious to look up Marius Meyer. Saw this killer front.
  13. Well I don't know about you guys, but I sweat like a mother when I'm uncomfortable. I would not be able to just drop them in public like that. I think I am going to go with the bath robe idea, if only for my own comfort.
  14. I've got myself an appointment with Dana Helmuth on May 7th to get started on mine. I am very excited. *And that wasn't even an April fools joke!
  15. The background of the website on the artist page disturbs me. The "Find us on Facebook" icon is perfectly placed in order to save my eyes. In my opinion, that large area could be used for something amazing, instead of some random black swishes and lines. There are so many amazing chest piece options. If you want to do some real research, go through this thread. http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-designs-books-flash/2069-chest-torso-tattoos.html
  16. Thanks for the tips @a1steaks @Lance @ironchef and @MoistTowelette Rolling up loose boxers sounds like a good idea. That way I can keep my twig and berries sequestered easily.
  17. BUMP! When receiving full neck to thighs, what does one wear? I was thinking I can get a disposable lab coat from work and just wear it backwards?
