I took @slayer9019's advice and am reading it on my Mac Mini via Amazon Cloud Reader. But it looks like part of the Freddy Negrete interview is missing. On page 57, it says, "He named it Black and Gray?" and then the next page is a Bob Ross tattoo sticker ad.

The wrong dude to fuck with, for sure. Hope it all works out (and I hope he had the "find my iPad" app).

Years ago, I wandered into a random little shop in San Antonio that sold Mexican imports and various stuff. The owner also had some of his own paintings for sale. One was a really cool folksy interpretation of Rose of No Man's Land. I think he wanted $100 or so for it--not much, but at the time, money was very tight. He said, "My philosophy on art is, if you can afford it, you should buy it." Now, dude was obviously looking to make a buck, but I also saw his point. That $100 would've been spent on something inconsequential and gone before I knew it, but that painting has been on my wall every day for 15+ years now, and it's brought me lots of enjoyment. So yeah. Get an awesome print. I don't think you'll ever regret it.

Look for comments on the article left by "Ross." The author stated that Horiyoshi III invented tebori. Ha!

Haha...I saw that article a few weeks back and left a few comments to point out errors in it. The author was pretty open to them, though.

Welcome! And yes, that is a rough spot to heal.

I agree with others who say that you have to let it heal. I am NOT a tattooer, but I do have a lot of gray-shaded tattoos, and depending on a number of factors, their healing time varies. Until it's completely healed, you won't really know how it will look. Gray wash heals differently than other colors in that it looks reddish for longer. Agai: not a tattooer, just a guy who's healed a lot of tattoos. Good luck.
