I had never heard the term before tattooers used it in regards to me. That's why I don't find it offensive.

Jag kann tala just et lite svenska. Min förre flickväns foräldrar kom från Småland. My Swedish is pretty bad, and seeing as how the Swede and I broke up about 12 years ago, it's very rusty. Plus, everyone I speak to says I sound like a Swedish hillbilly because I speak with a Småland accent. :)

I'm just much more of a whore than you are, @Lance. And here's the little tattoo I got from Horimasa (at the State of Grace Convention in 2006). He lined it by machine, but shaded it tebori (by hand). Still looks great.

Yeah, that's one of the best tiger heads I've seen, too. I got some cool ghost flames near my armpit. He did an awesome job. This post would be better with photos.

I don't claim to know him Richard and @Jennifer Stell well, but I first met Richard in 1991 at Scorpion Studios in Houston. Our paths crossed again in 2010 when he tattooed me at the SFO Convention. Ask anyone in the industry or who has ever been tattooed by him: Richard is a badass with a sharp wit, endless jokes, and a wry smile that'll win you over ever time. And it doesn't hurt that his art is legendary; he has truly developed a style all his own. As many of you know have no doubt heard by now, Richard Stell suffered a heart attack a few days ago. Ack! You got that? I spent a lot of time ogling it on IG last night. A lot of people are doing traditional dragon heads these days, but this one really stands out. I stared at that green for the longest. One of my favorites. And @exume, you sure did get a first tattoo. Keep it up and we'll all hate you (in the best possible way).
