  1. Next time, try La Taqueria on Mission and 25th or La Palma Mexicatessen on 24th and Florida (which unfortunately closes at 6pm).
  2. @lastjohn and @The Dude definitely seem like trolls, and most of us seem to be able to spot trolls when they show up here. We should all (myself included) take our own advice and stop giving them the attention they want. In this and all threads. When in doubt, ignore them.
  3. Pretty lame, if you ask me. Lots of great artists use rotaries these days. Then again, I'm not an artist, so I have no dog in this fight.
  4. What @DevilMan said. It's perfectly normal for tattoos to hurt for a few days afterward (and feel like a sunburn for about a week).
  5. Paging @irezumi to check out these awesome photos.
  6. Your first tattoo ever? Either way, that's one helluva keeper. Did he shade it by hand?
  7. Welcome to LST. Incredible first tattoo!
  8. @Hands On, your pictures make me realize that I missed a few pieces. Guess I'll have to go back and check 'em out again.
  9. Watch Jeff Cribb's interview here and tell me you don't wanna get tattooed by him: Jeff Cribb Tattoo Artist Interview Video
  10. I'm hazarding a guess, but seeing as each artist (and Adrian) has been posting their photos, I would think it would be cool. And I didn't see any photography being discouraged at all. Again, just my guess.
  11. What do I have to do to receive that "punishment"?
  12. Indeed! Not only did I get to see you and @cltattooing, but I got to see your killer new piece by her. It was great meeting @hw1776, @Hands On, and @bugxjuice, too. Oh, and the space and artwork were mindblowing.
  13. Welcome to LST, Stefan!
  14. Dude has listened to a lot of Scarface. Not mad, though. EDIT: Ha! He just released a song with 'Face: http://alpokodon.bandcamp.com/music
  15. This Cajun more than approves, @TheLance. Wow!
  16. Welcome to LST. That wolf/woman rib piece is nice, and I love that snake. I lived in the Castro for 9 years, btw. I'm up in Noe now, but still pretty close.
  17. Hi, @Taylor Killings. As several posters have already made clear, Last Sparrow is not a place you'll find tattoo artists to fill the roster at the shop you plan to open. I'll leave it at that. Now, if you have tattoos on your person (or that you've done) that you'd like to share, those would be welcome. Just understand that by asking professional tattooers to work at your as-yet-unopened shop when you are still but an apprentice, you have likely rubbed many people here the wrong way.
  18. A BW overhead is a lifelong goal for a lot of lifters, so take your false humility and dangle. :D
  19. Having your own home setup is a GREAT investment. I've put together a home gym in my basement strictly with Craigslist finds. And I absolutely love 5/3/1. Been running it for years.
  20. Thanks for this thread, @Dennis. I had never heard of Mike, and you fixed that problem for me.
