  1. And we're happy to have you. Welcome!
  2. Welcome, Jeffrey! Like Dari said, make yourself at home, and thanks for introducing yourself.
  3. For me, it was definitely Ribs>Ass>Chest. Maybe it's because my stomach and ribs done at the same time, but when Lehi was going over my stomach, it felt like a break compared to the ribs.

    Tattoo Noob!!

Welcome, Gregor! Thanks for jumping right in and sharing pics, too. Really dig that dragon. I have a dragon and sugar skull myself. :)
  5. Great post, Perez. All they can do is ask, and all the pros have to do is not answer.
  6. Very cool story--it's great to hear of someone's passion for tattoos getting reignited like that. Welcome to LST!
  7. I was kinda waiting for Scott to post this, but I guess he's too busy armwrestling and making awesome tattoos: My wife and I will definitely be there, but then we're off to a dinner for two to celebrate six years of marriage. (Yeah, we got married on the 13th. NEVER SCARED.)
  8. I look forward to banning each and every one of you.

    Gratitude, Thank You!

Love what I've seen so far, and I can't wait to see where things go. Thanks for all your hard work!
  11. I know that Copenhagen is in Denmark, not Sweden, but it's not that far from Stockholm. Henning Jorgensen is there at Awardwinning World Famous Tattoo Studio, Royal Tattoo, Denmark and he is one of my favorite artists. I'd say that he's well worth the trip.
  12. Haha, no, but I did have a Swedish girlfriend for two years. Her parents were from Västervik, Småland, so I've been told that I speak Swedish like a hick. :)
  13. Pretty sure Petri called himself a Finnish Devil (I can get by in Swedish, which means that Norwegians can both understand and laugh at me). Fy Fan, Hogg (Galt)

Tusk through the hoop! You kill me.
  15. I would like to second that opinion. I follow his blog and am a big fan of his tattoos.
  16. Like Stewart, I also learned midwifery by watching Bob Ross VHS tapes.
  17. Wait, you went to Glastonbury and not Los Angeles? Could've fooled me! Those are killer, Kyle.
  18. I was joking in my post, Mario, but I'm glad to hear that you're tattooing second generations. Chris Brand told me that people come into GTC all the time and say, "Jack tattooed my dad 30 years ago. Can I get a senorita on me, too?" Two generations of Jack Rudy cholas. How cool is that?
  19. When our daughter was born, I cut the cord and they put her on my wife's chest. I swear she was staring at the birdies on my wife' arm (put there by our own Scott Sylvia). Probably wondering how he got those lines so solid. She just turned two and she's always faking an injury so that she can put a Sesame Street band-aid on it. She'll say, "Oh, I got a boo-boo. I need a tattoo!" She loves to pick out different things on us, too. "Where's Daddy's tigers? Oh, that's a snake! That's your dragon." My wife's step-mom was visiting a few months ago and our daughter snuck up behind her and lifted her shirt, hoping to find some tattoos like Mama has. No such luck. I bet that when she grows up, she'll think tattoos are lame because her parents have them.
  20. @MsRad: No, YOU are! @irezumi: Free the Pimp, you know the deal. :)
  21. I'm hugely annoyed, Shawn. It also seems that many are acting as if being saddened by her death is an outright rejection of the tragedies in Norway. They're not mutually exclusive, not by a long shot. Lots of sad news going around, so no need to use it for sanctimonious ends. The net result is that it made me wanna hug my wife and daughter. She was a huge talent with even bigger demons. She left us too soon and I hope she finds peace now.
  22. Just out of curiosity, do you have any tattoos currently? If not, I'll caution you that you're in for a fantastic ride, but also one that will be very (very!) expensive and trying. But I applaud you for your lofty goal and wish you the best of luck achieving it.
  23. Yep, Horitomo and Horiken regularly shade by hand. Horitomo gave me the option of tebori (hand shading) or machine on my left arm. I went with tebori, of course! Not many opportunities like that, so I wasn't gonna let it pass me by.
  24. Yes, that it's it: cover your face so that no one will be able to recognize you.
  25. Stay safe, Iwar and Robin. Sending positive thoughts your way.
