Welcome to LST (and to the Bay!).
  2. Damn, @jade1955! You stay gettin' awesome tattoos.
  3. Every time I take a new favorite photo of my daughter, it's just a few weeks or months tops before it's replaced by another. Part of that is because she changes so much--she's not quite two and a half, so she has many, many more changes in store. But that's why I never wanted to get a portrait of her. I knew that she'd change over and over. That's fine, of course--it's what kids do, and there's something to be said for capturing a moment in your kid's life in a tattoo that will last to you 'til the end of your days. As for me, I got her name tattooed on my wrist by @Juan Puente when she was about two weeks old. I look at it every day and love it so much. My wife recently got our daughter's name on a banner under a little kewpie, and I'm so happy that I get to look at it every day: Cripwell Kewpie | Tattoo Gallery | Last Sparrow Tattoo
  4. Lum never really hid the penises. They were always pretty obvious.
  5. Great to have you here! Very nice work, too. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Colin Kenji Baker of State of Grace: Kinda has a Grime/Todd Noble vibe to it. I love this.
  7. Very powerful work, Roxx. Thanks for joining us!
  8. Can't wait to follow your progress on this--good luck!
  9. Haha, you bastard. Let me point out that 1) we're in different weight classes and 2) I can eat way more carbs than you, ya paleotard. ;) I will also concede that you, ahem, have a much bigger spider.
  10. Trying to create more space for tattoos on those legs--he's running out of room!
  11. Norway needs a me, @Iwar! I totally approve of this elbow spider. Nice fat one, at that. Good luck with your beard. :)
  12. I had Ben Grillo jam in a little black and gray skull in a rose between some other pieces on my arm. I'm very happy with it. He also added an itsy bitsy spider and some single-needle webs on my elbow:
  13. Thanks for introducing yourself and welcome!
  14. Or Josh Arment. My friend got her legs filled in by him and they look incredible. Just search for "Josh Arment" on Flickr and you'll see all her dots (she has direct linking disabled).
  15. Thanks for the nice introduction, Lenny, and welcome!
  16. Oh, I'm familiar with Clark. He does great work. In fact, I met Stewart at the SFO pre-party and told him that I'd seen an incredible Clark North sleeve earlier that day (with the world's largest finger waves) on a guy in downtown SF. And 5 hours is fast for an outline of that size and detail. Not a ton of fun for you, though. :)
  17. Damn, that's on you? Lucky guy! I saw that on his Instagram. Two questions: how long did that take, and who did your right arm?
  18. Speaking of Bay Area rapps, the homie Pam Da Funkstress from The Coup recently posted this: Back In The Yay pt 2(OG Bay Artist) by Pam The Funkstress - DJ Mixtape and Mixset - Mixcrate. Downloading now--it has lots of stuff that I think @Barbie Doll would dig.
  19. Haha, yeah, at least it's at the end.
  20. Is that where Captain Save-a-Hoe got you the hookup? :D And props for having Dre Dog perform on your balcony. "She thicker than a can of peanut butter--OK?"
  21. I've been listening to ASAP Rocky a lot lately (note: not Aesop Rock). Interesting kid. He's from Harlem, but works with a producer from San Antonio (named Beautiful Lou) and is heavily influenced by Houston rap and DJ Screw.
  22. Welcome! Nice user name. Do you loathe Buffalo or love it? It seems like the folks I've met from there are all about Buffalo.
