    Most (not all) tebori artists are slower than machine only artists. Keep that in mind if you're planning tebori for a huge piece like that. There are a handful of artists here in the states that do tebori: Shinji (Horizakura) in New York and Horitomo and Horiken at State of Grace in San Jose, CA come to mind immediately. I know that several members of the Horitoshi family travel to conventions in NY and SF, too. Just sayin': you can get tebori stateside if you'd like.

    Excellent choices! You have a great dilemma. As for pull-ups, as long as you're keeping your new tattoos covered (gyms are a staph farm), you should be fine. If you're doing your pull-ups at home, even better. And I like @BrianH's suggestion of a tiger from Mike and horses from Dave. But really, you should get tattooed by both of them.

    Eh. I have dragon heads on both knees and a dragon on my left forearm. I have a snake on my elbow/right forearm, a massive snake on my back, and a snake (with a hot stuff head) on my shin. Four girl heads so far, three spiders, four birds, three skulls, four hearts, and countless flowers. I'm probably missing a few in the previous counts, but you see what I'm getting at. There will be nothing remotely bummer about a huge tiger from Bryan Burk. Nothing.
