Went to congress st. tattoo this past sat to get tattooed by the gentle ginger (Jason Scott). Was a great time with great people who love tattooing for all the right reasons. I got the higgs inspired tattoo (jug fulla sun eyes in it!) and my wife got a great strange UFO/lobster/rose thingy. Got to hear great stories from Jason and see some amazing higgs,whitehead,bink,and bswelt tattoos amoung other things. Last time I talked to Thomas H. about people starting to do this style more and more he said something like "Someone needs to, I dont have time to do them all". I still agree that it waters it down, but I still love my thomas tattoos. My favorite thing about Thomas is when he mixes the classic tattooing/woodcut style with the patterns and dots and less the patterns and dots only.

We'd be blessed to have more input from you. Was getting tattooed this weekend and saw the so you want to be a tattooer book and fun was had by all reading it.

The real thing that upsets me o is if the kid really wanted it and some asshole tells them they cant do it it just makes the kid feel like crap. Its not really about the world of tattooing here for me, more about the children. FOR GOD SAKE WILL SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!

He is doing from bottom of my neck to the ditch of my knees, so I really dont mind "a little help from my friends". Hes one of two tattooers who test my endurance and make most other feel like nothing.

Am I really the only asshole who loves watching the people get shitty tattoos? I love that the judges dont say anything.

I like to go with different people and dont expect my body to have a cohesive flow. The styles on my torso/arms are pretty different and I like that. Back is westeren traditional, front is thomas, one arm is thomas, one arm is chris (asian influnece) so they are all different. Ill prob stuff more tattoos between the bigger ones on my torso but my legs are all random slaped on tattoos from different tattooers. Personally thats the way I like it, but I have full respect for people who do one style/one tattooer but for me I like too maney styles equally to pick one. But...I dont see why you cant get other traditional tattoos from other tattooers and still have it cohesive.

I go see chris and thomas pretty soon...love getting tattooed by them. Chris will be working at saved and kings ave as well, but next year I am excited to get tattooed at the private studio as well. My wife consults with hoyer soon as well so next year will be some fun new stuff.

I have been looking into this but I wanted to know if anyway knows of a site that lists the requirements for learning and administering laster removal. I know it can be state by state. Any info similar to this would be great.

Yea...now i am actually looking forward to watching the show just to see the Stell episode. More real tattooer guest judges would be good for that show.

Sounds good...Its interesting getting worked on by Chad K. My back is going to take a long time even tho the actual tattoo time is quick. But its been some of my favorite appointments and my back is becoming one of my favorites.

@ ShawnPorter If I ever run into you again, I want to hear something "icky" or something involving illegal activity you have hinted about in other topics. Then ask about your scott harrison tattoo. Hows you chad tattoo going, the teaser picture was cool.

When you and your wife have put off kids, house and other things to get your bodies tattooed over the next X # of years. Honestly I cant imagine NOT doing that now. (Tho soon a house is priority)
