Per the schooling in Jacksonville. This is the high school I graduated from in Jacksonville: Stanton College Preparatory School | Best High Schools | U.S. News The private schools here are not akin to an Exeter, but more along the lines of religious conservatives. The high school I went to above is a public magnet school and we learned about evolution in AP Biology. :p Everyone has a point of view that should be heard out; and it's cool to talk in a forum that allows opposing points of view to say their peace.

@Reyeslv Cool, I was just curious if you were able to cherry pick cable channels in order to not have to pay for a bunch of channels you don't watch.

Doesn't mean to cause offense, but finds it rather perplexing to have a citizen of a country apologize on behalf of that country, or a member of culture offer up apologies about the actions of another member of that culture. If I was the receiver or over heard/saw rude behavior or even criminal behavior by someone of a particular race or class, I would hope I would be cosmopolitan enough to not hold it against a larger group. For example, I don't hold ill thoughts/assumptions about the 'local' NYPD because of a series of shootings, beatings, pepper-spraying, & rape of innocent black immigrants; or protesting or intoxicated women. Well...at least not much. I'm just needling you all, not trying to start a tiff or anything! :rolleyes: edit: unless it's not obvious, asshole misogynists are just that, regardless of country and region and ladies should be treated with respect, period.

I saw Haywire as well. The fight scenes were really well staged and not having a soundtrack to the fight scenes I appreciated. But agrees, Sod used the RED Camera set up which shoots RAW files, so thinks the look of the movie being muted is on purpose, since he technically could have pretty much made the movie look like anything he wanted. Plus, I didn't like how it ended, felt like a gimmick. I agree about MI:GP. Beyond the Dubai act......kinda of a snooze fest. Disappointed by directors that make the jump from animation to live action. The only one of note is Tim Burton. Has bought a bunch of movies at the MovieStop, watched the original "12 Angry Men" last night....pretty good flick....to say the least.

Two Cents: Look at the total costs of owning a home, i.e. principal plus the interest you are going to pay on the mortgage. I doubt that when both are added up and you come to sell the home or your descendants decide to sell the home, that you will have made a significant amount of money on it. Going into debt for the sole purpose of an investment is NOT the way to go. I mean, is the home you are going to buy going to appreciate more than the interest you are going to be paying for the debt to own the home? That's the ONLY question I think that matters in terms of looking at the house as an investment. But, a house for many people isn't an investment, it's a home. If that's your goal, then go forward. The other stuff doesn't matter, if you are reasonably sure of your ability to make payments for the next 15 to 30 years. If your goal is an investment, look elsewhere. But good luck to you, it's a great thing to have no debts, just really think hard (as you obviously seem to be doing) about adding a five or six figure debt. @Reyeslv Agrees with your major point. In this economy, financial stability isn't in a house, it's in money in the bank. Or better yet, a high margin business.

I'm not sure about these re-makes anymore. Girl with a Dragon Tattoo basically bombed, I mean it's made less money than Alvin and the Chipmunks, soo....hopefully people are getting over it. I was really impressed by the 'style' of Oldboy, in the same way I was impressed by the 'style' of Drive. But when you start to think about the actual plot of Oldboy.... 1st act: Gripping and Amazing 2nd act: Hmm...okay.... 3rd act: Give me a @#$@# break.

Two Cents: Such of rip off of Top Chef, all the way to 'pack up your....(insert iconic equipment) and go' and 'flash/quickfire challenge' So....does this mean that Chris Nunez is going to be 'responsible' for two of the signature conversations between clients and tattooers... @RoryQ I just picked up that magazine and enjoyed the article. Honestly, I was just excited to see new photos of new tattoos, but reading the article was pretty interesting. I arrived at this forum from those videos to find out more info about traveling for tattoos, jet lag, etc. Found good info and interesting ideas. Now just putting pieces together to make it happen. @Ben87 That's awesome! Getting life in order to make a journey like that myself, sooner rather than later, one hopes. I, along with many others, I would imagine, look forward to seeing how your tattoo turns out. @exume I just saw that they were made private. Bummer, the vids were great.

Thought I would of course mention the gun thing. I had a customer come into my eatery, a dentist, and when he was paying, he started to empty his pockets looking for some change and happened to pull out a small semi-automatic handgun and casually laid it on the counter and kept on looking for a few cents. A couple of weeks later, same dentist, invited me out of my store to take a look at something in his trunk, which happened to be some kind of 'military-style' rifle. The handgun spooked me, but thought the rifle was pretty bad ass, actually. Did I mention the guy is a dentist?
