What bugs me when people poach is it hurts the rest of us. I enjoyed looking at Valerie's blog and seeing her work evolve. Sometime ago the entries slowed and I understand why. You aren't original if you want someone else's EXACT tattoo or if you trace it and apply it to someone else.

Does that mean you're making a trip to this side of the pond?

Favorite tattoo (on someone else): There is some great stuff in our gallery, the Valerie Vargas sleeve Gent with Lady. 7.) Favorite artist? Stewart Robson 8.) Best/Worst movie: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we have a little one and we haven't gotten out to the movies that much.... 9.) Best/Worst album: With iTunes I don't really do albums.... Just song after song.... 10.) Biggest guilty pleasure: Food.... I love all types, love restaurants and cooking! 11.) Best show/concert you did and did not attend: Went to Phantom of the Opera in London.....It was fun and I have seen it a couple of times but it was my wife's first time and she loved it. 12.) In Arizona, the sky is the limit on what you can own. With the proper background check you can get large caliber, fully automatic, suppressors, sawed off shotgun. There isn't much you can't get here. There is a gun store next to the range I go, and it reminds me of the scene in the Matrix. They have EVERYTHING... really crazy.... Full auto are ridiculously expensive to own but not to bad to rent....

This shop is in Massachusetts which isn't that far from Conn. Hs & HG Tattoos.com Eve Huber does some great stuff.

I like to give the person applying the tattoo the leeway to do what they do best. Seeing the stencil or watching the artist draw on my skin is enough for me. I choose the artist for their skills and might as well let them use em! Last tattoo I got I was asked to look in the mirror after the stencil was applied and declined. My thoughts are do I really know what I'm looking at???? What error could I find? I enjoy the finished product, so I stay out of their way.....

I think this shows the differences between Europe and the US. The swastika is a symbol of evil and blind ignorance of others based on religion or the color of their skin. In the US we (or at least me) don't have a recollection of the swastika meaning anything more than the symbol for the Nazis and white extremists. Up until this forum I wasn't aware of the true or initial meaning of the symbol.
