Everybody's input is great. I went ahead and sent Hayley a message since it says on her webiste that it takes her awhile to get back to people. I like to mull over my tattoo ideas for awhile before I actually get them so I'm 100% sure about them so I probably won't get it done until winter, maybe I will hear from her by the time I'm ready. I have heard of Taylor Cort somewhere before and I have family in Ashville so sometimes I'm there anyway, so that's something to consider. I really like some of Chris and Paris' pieces too, so I've got some good options now amd a great reference for anything I else I might be considering in the future since I tend to prefer color work. Thanks to everyone that responded.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think the back of the neck would be good for me since I don't wear my hair long enough to cover my whole neck and I may have a career change later in life but maybe the shoulder blade would be a better spot. Those guys have some great portfolios. I'm glad I started this thread, I'd never even heard of those shops before.

This is my first time posting a thread so sorry if it's in the wrong place. I want to get a tattoo of an edelweiss flower behind my ear with soft edges, something that looks almost like a watercolor painting. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and I was hoping someone would have a recommendation on someone within a 3 hr drive of the area that is really good at that particular style. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's just a Barbie girls can put stickers on. Some people sure like to get pissed off for no reason. When I was a kid my sister and cousins and I played Salem Witch Trials with our Barbies. I guess they would have to be witches in order to look like that.

I actually enjoy Back to Black and her songs come up on my shuffle occasionally. I was a little sad about it. Every time I saw a picture of her in a magazine looking somewhat normal I thought "Cool. Maybe she will get it together and make another album." It certaintly didn't surprise me but I had been hoping things would turn out better for her.

My cat was part of a litter I was supposed to give away but one of his brothers or sisters bit the end of his tail off and the bone was poking out so nobody wanted him. He looks great now though, just missing a quarter inch of tail. Never posted a picture before so I hope I do it correctly.

I got my first tattoo over a year and a half old scar on my stomach last year. It worked out really well and it sounds like mine is worse then yours. I would find an artist you like and go see them for an opinion. Only a tattoo artist can say for sure whether covering your scar is possible.

Excellent point. I am a hairdresser so I can definitely say hair gets all over everything. If I need to look busy at work I can always sweep and wipe off all the surfaces b/c even if I did it 5 minutes ago there will be hair all over them again. And I have heard a lot of horror stories about nail salons being unsanitary. I will never get a proffesional mani/pedi because of some of the pictures I've seen in continuing ed.

I just started reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk today. It's very, very weird. I'd like to read Anna Karenina again, I think I would definitely noticed some things I missed the first time. Anthony Kiedis' memior, Scar Tissue was really good. I read a lot of Stephen King and Augusten Burroughs.

I was so mad about what happened with Conan, that whole thing really broke his heart. I stopped watching NBC for a long time because of it but I'm over that now because Community is freakin' awesome. I'm sadly kind of addicted to TV but I've been watching more of it on Netflix recently.

I'm with MsRad. I think people were expecting something perverted, which would have been ok. But to be fair, I guess, we were warned that it was going to be offensive.

I got the lyric 'When we were kids without a brash or bitter thing to say' tattooed on my ribs last Wednesday.

My mom calls them 'toos and nobody knows what she's talking about. It doesn't really bother me though, it makes more sense than the slang my sister makes up.

I just got my ribs done. I had been putting it off because I heard it was really painful but it wasn't bad at all. I think it was because it only took 15 minutes. My first one I got on my stomach and it was really painful. That one took about 50 minutes. So for me I think the pain depends on the amount of time it takes to get it done. For the first 20 minutes I'm ok.
