Never been a problem. The nurses are always nice though they basically laugh in my face when I have to turn my head, close my eyes, and put the opposite arm over my eyes when they have to take blood..

What's up dude! Best advice I can give you is to first find either a particular person you want to get tattooed by, or what's easier, a reputable shop. And then talk to whoever is doing the tattoo and they'll help you with the details. (Unfortunately, I don't know much about tattooers in Brazil..) Good luck!

FUCK THIS THREAD! Just got back from the honeymoon with all these grand thoughts of saving money, all kinds high-minded ideals my parents would be proud of.. and now all these killer tattoos. I suppose I'll just have to work my ass off so I can do both and start all the big pieces I've been thinking of. Seriously though, that Marius koi, the Stewart Robson backpiece, and fucking especcially the Jaie Devore craziness.. and that methed out kepwie Viking. Fuck you all, you're all my heroes.

As someone who's practiced the art of impatience my entire life, the advice on waiting to do the stars and dots filler all at once and also finding someone who knows how to do a proper star/dot fill, I can't stress those things enough. Got my elbow to wrist "filled" a few years ago and it looks... stupid. Waiting until I can get the whole thing redone at once. Oh yeah, and I also made the mistake of asking the dude to "throw some color" in a basic black tattoo and it also looks... stupid. Worst feeling: watching the tattoo and getting that sinking feeling in your stomach. Luckily, it's small, and at some point it'll get redone. So uh, just wait and be sure it's what you wanna do and find someone who knows what the hell they're doin!

Man there are some awesome photos in there. Met a guy yesterday who had a couple of Henry Goldfield tattoos, fucking rad. Looking forward to being an old tattooer gentleman myself one day..

So fucking funny, was just talking about the very same predilection of his with some friends of mine who also used to live with him. He's one of the funniest dudes and a great fucking tattooer.

It's a great thing when people do their research, especially when they come up with some really top-notch tattooers they'd like to get tattooed by. Such a good feeling in a weird way.
