im gonna third the "going to the movies sucks now" idea i was wondering if people outside of canada know about the movie Fubar cause it's pretty great if you like extremely low budget mockumentaries best movie i watched lately was Welcome To The Dollhouse WEINER DOGGGG!!!!!

i think it all comes down to this no matter how much money anyone has, celebrities are just regular morons like everyone else, and in general the public can not determine between a good and a bad tattoo... people don't give a fuck about who they are getting tattooed by because they think all tattooers are created equal. also i can't believe no one's posted this piece of amazingness i give to you, Gucci Mane in all his icy glory

man it sucks how many hacks are out there giving the good ones a bad name dont ever by scared to tell a tattooer "no i'm not getting this put on me" for ANY reason. You're the one who has to deal with it for the rest of your life, not them. They're done dealing with it the second you leave the shop.

If money is an issue you should bring it up in the first convo by telling them what your budget is, or asking how much it will be so you can be prepared. don't be afraid to tell a tattooer what your budget is if you have one because it makes their job a lot easier in the end..

i tried to stay away from mentioning tattooers who've passed since i can't get tattooed by them.. that's why i didn't list rollo or jerry or any other old school dudes... the only one was Higgs who's living but not tattooing...

hahah good point. i did look up some stuff after i made that post. you are right Ed probly is rolling in dough but i still don't think he's hurt the industry more then he's helped.. i came off a little harsher then i meant to. and stewart's point is spot on having worked as the counter or floor person i'd rather have someone come in a shop with an ed hardy shirt for a design reference than one of those awful affliction shirts with the crazy tribal-ish shit that's all over them. Or the rip off Hardy style shit you find in China town or the flea market If someone offered me millions to use my artwork I'd do it too. I do think it got way crazier then he probably ever though it would be.

actually there is one other person who does embroidery that is tattoo inspired and does it really well and that's Robert Ryan's lady who's name is escaping me at the moment. her stuff is done freehand by machine and it's really really nice too.
