getting my third tattoo...in the shop there was a candle burning and it had a distinct smell afterward everytime i would smell a candle like that it would transport me right back to getting tattooed and then i would want another tattoo also green soap

my bro talking to my grandma recently she lifts up his sleeve and sees some of his tattoos and then just puts the sleeve down and goes ooooohhhhhhh then she asks a whole bunch of questions one of which is grandma: "what do you do if you decide you don't like them" bro: well you can get them lasered off grandma:"have you looked into how much that would cost" bro: nah i'll just keep em or you just get em covered up with a different tattoo grandma: "oh no don't do that" then she asked how much they cost and he started to tell her and i was thinking stfu don't tell her that it brought the lulz

I've heard paco refer to himself as a collector. So i don't think it is a negative thing at all. He likes to get tattoos from certain people too.

i've healed a few of tattoos this way. it seems to work better but is also a hassle. especially if its in a weird spot

unfortunately i am a graphic designer...well at least that's what pays the bills helvetica has its time and place and it is not a bad font pretty easy to kern works well for body copy legal etc if all someone is designing are pieces for their book or record album covers then helvetica is sort of boring i guess i certainly wouldn't get a helvetica tattoo though

graphic designers don't hate helvetica they hate comic sans or insert some other terrible font (here)

i live in the south. you only see white people flyin a confederate flag...that might be a hint that it is racist. not that black folk in america can't be racist...but they didn't kidnap a bunch of white people and bring them here and enslave them. and a confederate flag is a reminder of that past history. don't care to debate slavery and the civil war but whenever people tell me that flying the rebel flag is some sort of heritage thing i just have think it's complete bullshit.

those tattoos that chad has been doing also remind me of a lot of some turkish kilim rugs i've seen.

i pretty much let people do whatever. i'm playing off of stuff i already have and filling spaces. i can draw and paint i don't know how to tattoo. i would never get anything i drew tattooed on me unless i did it myself. and then i would probably hate it. half the fun of getting tattoos for me is being surprised. i usually just give someone a theme lady head skull flower etc. the last tattoo i got was on the back of my leg so i couldn't see it at all. i saw the outline and that was it. we discussed colors. i was thinking hmmmm i don't really like those colors but i trust you so go for it. then he added some other colors and if he would have told me i would have really thought hmmmmmmmmm wtf. but when i saw it when he was done i was stoked and surprised. love the tattoo. but i also wouldn't got to someone who's work i didn't like and give them free reign. i am not a fan of some of the neon colors some people use so i wouldn't get work from them.
