Yea if you dont have your own it kinda blows but the place i go will store your guns on site. PA has the best rentals but it gets expensive for the big toys. NJ is usually limited to .22lr 9mm .40 and .45 rental wise. Easiest way is to find a buddy with the fun stuff.

There are a few good ranges in Jersey that you should check out. NYC is probably the most gun-unfriendly place on earth! I have a small arsenal that is being left behind when I move to BK. That doesn't mean I will ever stop shooting, hell who could deny the AR-15?

I used to go to a barber shop that was very old-school. Got my hair cut by the same guy that cut my dad's hair when he was young. Cash register from the 1930's, leather straps hanging from the chairs. Stopped going there when I started to shave my head. I miss that experience.

I can agree with the doctor thing as well! Also I found over in Newark, NJ (I used to live there so I go back a lot) I usually get a lot of comments by people working in the shops. Also almost every person that works at the Panera Cafe, almost always starts a conversation about my tattoo/their tattoo as they are almost always tattooed. Probably the funniest response I got was in a Starbucks by where I work. I usually go in there in a suit, but once went there on a weekend. The guy working the counter recognized me and was blown away that suit-types can actually like metal (Cannibal Corpse shirt) and have tattoos. It was kind of funny.

I personally found a few beers and the itch is almost gone! I very much agree on the itchier at night. That is usually the time it is INSANE. My roommate thought I was on drugs once because I burst out of my room because it itched so bad then rummaged through the freezer for frozen veggies. Freezing cold is the absolute best, greatest, wonderful thing for itchy tattoos. Trick is to cover more than the tattoo with the cold item (frozen peas are my favorite!)

Yea I figured it out when I shaved my leg a few days earlier before the tattoo and the itch came in a massive wave. I will comment when I get my arm done to verify.

I know my friend bleeds like a stuck pig when getting tattooed. Never before I met him did I ever see trickles of blood running from a tattoo.

I think it runs along one of my favorite sayings.... "It's not what you wanted but it's exactly what you asked for" I have personal experience with this.

I do not remeber them playing loud music anytime I've been there. There is also Radegast Hall & Biergarten which is always a good choice!

I do have to say it is back to insane itchy levels again but it is definitely hair related. Hairy leg + shave = insane itchiness!!!!!!

Anyone have reservations against Pecuiliar Pub in Greenwich? 300+ beers on site and not too expensive. I'm not too familiar with W'Burg but I am down for any suggestions.

Why do people want invisible tattoos? Isn't that the opposite of a tattoo?

This I agree with absolutely, but the problem is getting in the door and proving you are a successful employee in the beginning of your working career. This is why I know I am going to get my highly visible tattoos much later in my career.

Funny thing is I know way more women with tattoos and piercings than men. Haha internet comments. They start off with a solid idea than transition to name calling...always I do have to say I do not think I can trust a Forbes article with accuracy in the area of tattoos. The statistics are always biased and skewed, even if none is intended. Statistics are statistically proven (yup I said it) to be skewed in favor for the argument at hand when presented with an article or statement. Place yourself in the shoes of the person writing the article. You find 3 statistics that either prove or disprove your argument. Would you use a study that disproved your statement? This being said the statistics presented by this article are only a rough estimate on the subject matter at hand. Proof of point would be, who did they ask? If they asked people on an online survey that automatically excludes people who do not frequent that website, do not have internet access, or simply hate online surveys (I fit into the last category). You must also take into account there are way more people with a small tattoo than moderate to heavily tattooed folk, the latter being the ones more likely to be subjected to a biased opinion by a potential employer. When talking of tattoos in the workplace, visible or otherwise, I feel you must take into account the subject matter, size and placement of the tattoo in question. For example if the tattoo was a massive blood-drenched severed head with the words F*ck the World, I would say yea, if they knew about it you probably will be looking for more interviews, but if it is a small butterfly, you probably have a decent chance of it being overlooked. Body piercing also carry the same weight with placement and possibly ethnic background as well. A fine example I have encountered is, I have seen Indian women in the professional world have a small nose piercing and nobody questions otherwise, but if I were to walk in brandishing a fresh industrial bar, there would be questions. I would also like to add that every writer has their own opinion woven into any article they write, simple based on personal experience and human nature.
