Sadly I thought this was a music gear thread for music listening not creation. I can't play for shit so I make sure I got some great gear to listen to music!

Usually the more agressive the music the faster I work. This is great for endless coding. Combine ruthless metal and 32+ oz of coffee and I am a work machine. Times when the client is making me sit on my hands, waiting and I have nothing to do, pretty much anything will suffice.

I'm not a big fan of the dots stars smoke wind bars just for the sake of filling space but more along the lines of smaller tattoos in the gaps between bigger tattoos

This is another thing with English...different versions!

I hate the rules of religion along the lines of why I hate the English language. More exceptions to the rules than rules, so you're never sure if you're doing it right! Plus half of the rules/exceptions nobody follows anyway (Oxford comma anyone?)

As I continue getting tattooed, I have always wondered should I wait to get the smaller "filler" tattoos when I start running out of room or is it a good idea to get them now. I am far from running out of room but the spots I have tattoos now feel a bit incomplete with gaps around them. I know some people say it's better to wait. Any thoughts?

After waiting forever to get a tattoo and playing with a million ideas I decided to get this. I thought go big or don't do it (the original idea was to cover my entire calf, but the tattooer talked me out of it). It was inspired by Gustave Doré's wood cuttings from Dante's Inferno. I have owned the book (several copies) since I was younger and decided it was a good idea. I don't really like it all too much. It was exactly what I asked for but not what I wanted.

If your looking for a time suck it is great at that. Sadly it has a total game play calculated.

Tattoos amongst Christians during their time of persecution were popular to mark "hey I'm in the club too", because during history, being Christian was a death sentence (and in some places still today!). A little tip here (great example is Leviticus 19:28) is the power of translation to affect the meaning of a passage. There is no "direct translation" from one language to the next and subtle differences throughout a text can modify the entire idea behind a passage. Example: - See how they changed that up a bit from the King James version?The point I was going after was how people hand pick passages to validate their own opinions, but ignore everything that doesn't.

Raised Roman Catholic. Figured out it wasnt for me at around 12-13. Haven't looked back since! The major problem I have with things like the OP, is the way people pick and choose shit out of religious texts. I say either stick to your shit and follow everything through and through or take it all as a guideline of types with some cool stories. Great example I find quoted to me from time to time (and relevant to this forum). This has been spoken to me before, then they go on to say I'm going to hell for my tattoos..blah blah. I usually wait for them to finish and follow up with....do you also know what is included in Leviticus 19? "Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it." - oops got an rare steak "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard." - oops hair cut "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them" - Shit, a shitton of people screwed this one "Do not go about spreading slander among your people." - most people have done this as well There are more examples, but I do not feel like getting into them. I find it funny that the people usually spewing out bible verses usually only remember a handful of them that fit their particular opinion, but seem to "forget" all the others, or "those dont matter anymore, etc etc"
